I'm part of a group of people who are going through the process of trying to get our money back after a scheme we invested in went into administration. Mark from Arch Law did a couple of group calls with us and we each paid a £1k fee. I have not even had confirmation of payment received, let alone a response to the form I was asked to submit back at the end of 2024. I asked for a call a few weeks ago, left a voicemail but never heard back so I'm not entirely sure what I've paid for at this point.

Do not use this company!!!

Terrible service throughout the conveyancing process.

They lost a large sum of money which was my deposit for an off-plan property purchase. Which took weeks to resolve.

Aura, extremely rude. Pretty much every email and communication is like having an argument with someone.

Emma, my solicitor left the company mid way through conveyancing my purchase. No one picked up her work load which resulted in my handover being 8 weeks late and a penalty from the developer of £5800 that Arch Law refused to compensate me for.

The company is a shambles, lost money, lost my documents, lost time. Lots of stress within the company and its customers. I’m a property investor and have never had any type of issues with other solicitors, so this is not standard.

I’d have done a better job at conveyancing my purchase myself with no experience in the field. I did actually contact the lender solicitor and deal with enquiries raised throughout as Arch Law were taking weeks in between emails to reply.

At the end they offered to reduce their fees by half as a good will gesture for lack of service, which was £500 which I refused to accept.

Lastly they paid my stamp duty late which resulted in another fine from HMRC. They did pay this fine for me though seen as though it was only £100.

But the £5800 fine I paid which they were truly accountable for they declined.

A complaint had been made to the Legal Ombudsman in order to be compensated the £5800.

I urge anyone that’s had a similar problem with this company to do the same.

Put our house up for sale and chose Arch Law to deal with the conveyancing. We mentioned that we wanted a quick sale and our conveyancer Diane delivered by chasing up the purchasers solicitors and made sure that they didn't drag their feet! She was very patient with us and explained everything that we wasn't sure about. 100% recommend 👏

The firm is very rude in particularly the person that worked with me, Aura Persad. She is rude and lacks professionalism. Very bossy, she behaves like a dictator on 2 occasions. The first was so bad when I was trying to exchange a contract. The second time, I had to reach out to the developers and the agent who recommended them. They did everything to resolve the problem. Archlaw, as a firm, didn't reach out to me and refused to listen to the developers that intervened but said they would no longer act on my behalf.
