We have spent the last three days of the summer holidays my neighbours and I listening to one of their alarms going off for three days straight. Every single time I called up the company refused to receive information about what type of alarm it was as I had a picture of the alarm but they didn’t want to know. They also said that even though it was their responsibility to find out why the alarm was going off I couldn’t as a local neighbour call them up and get them to Go through with an employee how to check for the reason The alarm was going off for three days straight! For me personally and someone who is very nice sensitive, as my autistic daughter, it’s ruined our last day of the summer holiday. The last woman I spoke to was so rude and condescending Refusing to take the information I provided for her, saying she wasn’t part of the technical team, And she was part of the Emergency team responsible for the sped, turns out the tanker was at massive risk of a spillage or worse!!! I was trying to explain as the.company still hadn’t even bothered To check what the alarm was that was going off I can send a picture of it for them, to take the information to the technical team so they could figure out what was wrong!!!
Eventually, it was established that an oil tanker was too full and it was dangerous behind residential housing- Three days for somebody to realise alarms don’t just go off for three days for the fun of it. Absolute shocking behaviour to leave an alarm going three days straight!!!
