If anyone other than Angela Porter is appointed to represent you from this firm you are better off going without representation.

Been represented in the past by Angela Porter herself and she was amazing!!!
Polite, well spoken, treats you with respect and dignity. Not to mention the patience she must of had to put up with me during a really difficult time.

I've dealt with 3 other solicitors from this firm and just felt they neither have the people skills nor legal skills for the job- OK "Roe" maybe had good legal skills I was never represented by her in court but again so arrogant and not a great experience.

If my rating was based on my experience with Angela as a solicitor herself I think an honest rating would be 4- 4.5 stars.
Based on the firm as a team of solicitors it's a 1 because I am unable to give a lower rating than that

If you expect to be able to communicate with your solicitor you may be very disappointed. Leanne Barratt does not respond to your calls. It is very frustrating. The receptionist is always very polite and friendly but unfortunately he is not representing my case.

4 left messages, no returned call when stated. Didn’t submit information for a week over when said.
Finally had a chat and was told that I’m not important and the legal aid money that they are given isn’t as much as I think.
Rude, slow, poor communication, no response, made to feel like nothing for asking for updates on their promises.
Avoid! Better off using a primary school pupil to represent. Also was happy to contribute to any additional fees and or legal aid.

Very poor & disappointing experience with this company.
Communication was atrocious & virtually impossible to get a callback. The advice given was poor causing me further issues. Angela Porter herself is abrupt, rude & unhelpful whilst allowing her personal feelings to interfere with the job required.
Considering this is a defence solicitor company & should be on your side, it often felt the complete opposite. The only good aspect of the situation I faced was the barrister who was very good.

After contacting for an appointment on Monday 16/10 and speaking with Ishmael by Friday 20/10 still waiting for the promised call and appointment. Another call to Ishmael and on hold a long time to be told no appointments available. A waste of a week, terrible attitude, don’t waste your time here.

Absolutely shocking could not get through to Angela even tho I spoke to her colleagues multiple times about her getting back to me and still didn’t would not recommend this firm to anyone not even as a joke absolutely useless
