Really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful day sat outside by the river in the sunshine. Rooms were ok. Bed comfy. Breakfast nice. The American diner van onsite had a great selection of gorgeous food. Bar had a good choice of drinks aswell as pool, darts and skysports . Then there's the little snug/cocktail bar room with loads of retro games to be enjoyed. Lovely owners too ?

We loved staying in this 600 years old hotel with rich history (I never imagined the property was used to be a court house with some tax offices within!).

Decor inside the room was in retro style, but clean room with comfy bed. The owner, James, was so welcoming and made us feel at home. We really appreciated his kindness when we arrived a bit late in the evening.

We will definitely go back to stay there. Despite the fact that the pub is downstairs, there was hardly any noise travelling to the room. The price was very competitive and included the breakfast for us all, which made the stay even more bargain!

Great atmosphere and loved by the local people as well - no wonder ❣️

Not sure if new management has taken over here, but I had one of the hotels self professed legendary Sunday dinners here. Unfortunately it was legendary for all the wrong reasons. In all honesty the bar lady did say that the beef was pink which was Ok, but some of the scraggy bits of beef were raw not rare. Everything else on the plate was
pretty tasteless also. Sorry to say, worst Sunday dinner I've ever had. Fantastic location and the bar lady was friendly and the service was good, shame about the meal.
