They will charge you for simple advice you can easily get elsewhere for free online. Typical large law business. They are not really there to help, you are just a walking wallet to them. They charged £200 for an hour yet we were only in there for 10 mins. We were just pushed out. Left with no real resolution or sound advice. We found better advice from a smaller law firm and online for free. i would say avoid like the plague unless you have money to throw away.

AmicusLaw did the conveyancing for a property I sold - I was always kept informed of the progress of the sale and I was told upfront what the costs would be - these didn't change. Any emails I sent were answered promptly and I felt the process was in safe hands.
