I don't want to review but I thought I should be doing it. Long story short i went to get solicitor signs on my son deed poll for change of name and there I was introduced by young man Afrasyab Younus who meant to deal my case. Initially he was seemed to me bit confused that what he is doing but at the end he signed and i took them back but few weeks after I hv got objections from deed poll office that they have required some more documents and signs from the same solicitor so I went back to see him again and there my actual experience started. By blaming just him, I would rather say the staff have no such professional dealing to how to communicate with clients, it took me 3 weeks to approached Mr Younus to do the rest of some paperwork which was due to his non availability though I had no choice to wait for him and at the end when I met him he told me to come back next week which I have specially booked my day off to see him but that day he didn't turn up in office and the staff is still fail to contact me to respond. By this attitude with the clients, I don't believe that anybody in that area are satisfied with them.

The initial assessment is not free £180 including VAT. in that assessment we went through the points for our side of the case and opposition. Mr Sarwar was happy to take on my case by opening a 'file' for £600. The total cost he was unclear of how much it would cost, I asked many times and all i got was an ambiguous answer.

I decided to ring a few other solicitors around. I tried my local Nicholas Brimble. My call was return by a very nice polite woman called Miss Virk. She spent 30 minutes on the phone to me explaining very clear all the procedure and costs, including digging out additional information for free. Just this free consultation alone saved me literally 10s of thousands of pounds.

My experience with this firm was far from pleasant. I was looking after my sisters personal injury case.

A medical examination had been conducted by the firm on February 2023. Usually, it shouldn't take longer than 4 weeks for a report to come back (firm will say otherwise). In this instance it took over 4 months.

Now I chased up the case handler every week when we reached the 4 months mark. Everytime I called, he will give the blanket response of 'I will chase them up now and call you back to update you'... as you probably guessed, I never received any call back. Whenever I called them back to say, 'you never called me back, so I'm having to chase you up again,' I would get a response to say, 'we have messaged the medical expert and there's nothing we can do.'

When I eventually received the medical report, the case handler, Ahmed, emailed me to ask if there's 'any amendments you'd like me to make.' I told him of all the amendments needed. He sent it back, and then after 2 months i received it back, with the amendments not being made. I then emailed them back and told them the amendments needed. The medical report came back, and the amendments were still not made. Ahmed then asked me whether I'd like the report to be sent back, and I told him there were inaccuracies and what he'd advise. He then declined to give me any advice as to what I should do. After attending the office, I highlighted where the inaccuracies were, to which he then said 'he'll send back the medical report back,' after 2 months I didn't hear back from the firm. Another lady from the firm then called me to tell me that 'they haven't touched the case and the report wasn't sent back, and to go over what needs doing.' I was absolutely shocked and speechless at this stage.

After constant delays and non communications, I took it upon myself to constantly chase up the firm. If I didn't chase them up, you could say that the case would have been left under the carpet somewhere.

The firm then went on to threaten me to include additional costs if I called them again.

To conclude, I feel as though the firm has very poor communication, and would do anything in their means to incur further financial costs on their customers for their own financial gain. They continued to leave the case untouched, and passed it on from pillar to post. Their staff are unprofessional and not competent in their role. I therefore wouldn't recommend bringing your cases here.
