Contacted Allen Ford Northampton ahead of time to ask if they could transfer the vehicle to Hinckley as that branch is an hour closer to me. They didn’t on the proviso that they put a full tank of fuel in the car ready for me to buy.

When I made the two hour round trip to Northampton to view the car, it had less than half a tank, the paintwork was scuffed in places not visible in their photos and the aircon didn’t work.

The vehicle was also listed and priced as having a heated steering wheel, which it does not. After refusing to buy the car and making them aware that the listing is incorrect, it is still on their website as having a heated steering wheel several weeks later.

The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is that the staff were all friendly and polite and didn’t try to push me to buy after I pointed out the issues.
