It is with great regret i write this review, As i am sure that there are good, fair and conscientious people working for Affinity wills.
My name is Michael Doyle. This post is In.regards to An existing will & trust we had in place, which i wished to update.
An upfront payment of over £3000 pounds was paid in February 2019 to Affinity to initiate the changes. in July 2019 I raised a formal complaint due to the fact that i still did not have the draft copies of either.
From that date I have been dealing directly with the managing director by email. He has not answered my questions to my satisfaction, And ignored my request for Information under the Freedom of information acts 2002.
It is my opinion that Affinity have acted unprofessionally, failed in their duty of care to me the client & my family by failing to complete the update of my will & trust in a reasonable amount if time. me & my family have been left in the position of not having any will or trust in place for protection & safeguard of me or my family.
I requested the return of my full payment (in order to instruct another company) to put a will & trust in to place. This they have so far refused to do.
My Advice to people who wish to use Affinity for their family protection planning, to give it a great deal of thought before committing yourselves.
I would hate to have you go through the frustration & despair that I have had to & still going through to this company.
