Used Cornwall Mining Consultancy twice during my house purchase process and they are unbelievably helpful, efficient and professional in everything they do. In both cases the surveys were completed within 2 days and in both cases the reports were back with us within 24 hours. Following a very concerning Mining Survey during conveyancing with potential for subsidence alarm bells started ringing.
It looked like our dream home in West Tolgus may be at risk and unobtainable.
Cornwall Mining Consultants provided excellent response to the challenge. They liaised with vendor, and ourselves and within hours of their engagement a contract was signed by all parties to conduct invasive drilling to ascertain precisely any features that may be of concern.
The on-site investigation took 2 days to conduct, the second day I traveled to see for myself the activities.
I was met by a very amenable geologist that explained exactly what was happening.
To summaries, all was good, I received a full report within 2 days.
The professionalism, reactivity, openness and knowledge of the team is outstanding and highly recommend.

Jackie Goldsworthy at Cornwall Consultants was brilliant. At 2pm on 1st June 2022 (just before the Jubilee Bank Holiday) I discovered the property I am buying needed a Mundic Survey as it was built before 1960. By 3pm Jackie had liaised with the Estate Agent and arranged the Survey for Wednesday 8th June with the promise of the results on Friday 10th June. This morning Jackie phoned me to say the Mundic Result is A1 (i.e. no issues) and although it is her Surveyors day off he was coming into the office to sign off my Survey Report. I was also pleased with the level of detail in the Survey Report.
