This is the second time we have visited Burnham on Sea as we stay at Withy Water. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We have a Motorhome and it's great you make parking provision for us and we are very impressed with the parking fees. The cafe we use allows dogs so when the weather not so good like today we don't have to sit out in the cold. We intend to come again in the summer so will be be visiting the Seaside again. I was brought up by the sea and it's like visiting home again ?

A GROUP OF FRIENDS VISITED TODAY & THE FIRST TIME & A VIEW OF THE BEACH WAS RUINED BY A VERY OBNOXIOUS BEACH WARDEN TALKING IN A VERY ANGRY MANOR TO A MAN WHO HAD GONE ON TO THE RAMP WITH HIS DOG TO BETRAY A MESSAGE TO HIS WIFE & GRANDSON ON THE BEACH. THE WARDEN REACTED IN A VERY BULLISH WAY TO THE MAN WHEN THE MAN OBJECTED TO THE WARDENS AGGRESSIVE TONE. ONE OF MY GROUP OF FRIENDS A RETIRED W.P.C OVER HEARD THE CONVERSATION & SPOKE TO THE MAN WITH THE DOG & EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE WARDENS MANOR WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE & TO MAKE A WRITTEN COMPLAINT THE MAN SAID HE WOULD NOT MAKE A FUSS WHICH IS WHY I FEEL COMPELLED TO WRITE THIS. THE WARDEN WAS ALSO OVERHEARD TO SAY WHEN WALKING AWAY THAT THE MAN WITH THE DOG WAS A IDIOT ?.

What a shambles for local people to join in with remembrance day who have to drive. With roads closed without warning,no directional signs,no prior warning as to any road closures so please think about local people.
