Poor service for Power of Attorney application.

In September 2022 we asked Willsons in Nuneaton to process power of attorney for health/welfare and finance on behalf of my Dad. It was completed in December 2023. In that time:
I had to chase for the initial paperwork. I later received a letter requesting payment of invoice, but the invoice was not included. It was never received in the post so I had to go to the office to collect it.
Our reserve attorney filled in paperwork in front of the solicitor. A few days later they were told that they'd filled it in incorrectly and they had to arrange to go back again.
The solicitor requested further information, which I provided. I received no response. Three weeks later I phoned and was told that our solicitor had left Willsons. Our application had not been passed on and had not advanced any further. As I had chased, it was then given to another solicitor.
Mid July 2023 I chased as I was under the impression that it should have been completed by now. I was then told that the Office of the Public Guardian (who process such applications) had returned some paperwork with a query. I asked Willsons for the date that they had received the query. They eventually told me that they couldn't find it.
November 2023 the Office of the Public Guardian sent Willsons the completed health/welfare paperwork. Willsons informed me that the matter was now closed. I informed them that it wasn't as we still hadn't received the completed finance paperwork.
December 2023 Willsons received the completed finance paperwork and sent it to us.
The whole experience took 15 months. I had to frequently chase to be kept up to date.
I will not be using Willsons again.
