Lawbite haven’t paid any of their staff since January 2024 so not sure how they are getting away with pretending to still be a solvent company. Their CEO is an incredibly selfish person who has effectively stolen wages and pensions from the staff he has failed to pay

We have been using this company since May last year. It all started well ,then we had no response to our messages on the portal or when we called the office no one answered, just message saying agents busy, call back later. We have a direct line to our lawyer Simon who again was great at the start ,even using Whats App,however after a while he also didn't reply to our messages. When we did finally speak to Simon,he told us the company was in trouble and the lawyer hadn't been paid for months, hence no work on our case. We spoke to Will ,who apologised for this, but didn't deny this was the case and said we should be issued with a new lawyer. He said in an email he would communicate this issue with the Chairman Clive Rich and that Clive would call me back. That was 24th April its now 18th May and no call. Spent £5k with this company for premier membership, Joke ! with little work being done.We want our money back since our case is still on going and we have to find a new lawyer.

AVOID at all costs...awful case management - passed between multiple people, no communication. Charged us for work they didn't complete and then stopped responding to any emails.

Over the past two years, my experience with Lawbite and their incredible team, including Will and Melissa, has been nothing short of exceptional. Their unwavering support, expert guidance, and professionalism have been instrumental in our journey. The partnership we've built together is truly valued, and their commitment to their clients is evident in every interaction. I highly recommend Lawbite to anyone in need of comprehensive and reliable legal services. They're not just a service provider; they're a partner in your business's growth.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

I have no experience in legal matters and needed to settle a dispute. At first they were super responsive, but once they had taken my money I had to constantly chase just to get any kind correspondence. In their defence there is a major time zone difference, but they would go weeks without even sending a message. Well over a year later, they have basically just stolen my money - all I got was two zoom calls (the second one was a repeat of the first), there has been absolutely no action, let alone a resolution of the dispute. After months and months my solicitor (Alastair Redfern) said that he had been waiting for me to do something that a) we had never discussed, and b) was never even possible in the first place.

I put my trust in these people, and they basically just took my money and ran-off. I feel robbed. How can they take advantage of people in difficult situation like this... I bet they saw me coming a mile off. And what do you do? Legal action? I imagine that's a part of the law they know very, very well.

Please, if you need legal help, DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE

Based on our 2 experiences I suggest any business to AVOID Lawbite if they need assistance on serious matters in a timely manner. Their level of unprofessionalism is astonishing, especially given their involvement in the legal sector.

In our first interaction were dealing with a solicitor regarding Sale Of Shares we provide her with a draft and lots of details. And we had we long chat before she started working on the task.

When she provided the draft, we realised it was nearly completely unrelated to what we asked from her.

She went back and started to work on the actual task. We had couple of correspondence and made progress however she left the company, and our case has taken over by another lawyer. This costs us quite a bit time and the new lawyer more or less invalidated most of the things the previous lawyer did. This second lawyer was good and helpful.

In our second important interaction we gave the custody of the shares to Lawbite and asked them to support us with the admin bits (HMRC related) during sales process. They accepted the job and we started to receive support from one of the lawyers.

The lawyer stopped answering our questions on the 23rd of November 2023.No, we did not have any arguments or problems. He just went missing. We sent messages on Dashboard, called and spoke with Lawbite support staff but did not receive a meaningful reply in many cases.
They staff does not follow-up on matters so I have been chasing them more or less every week to get issue resolved. They apologised on several times but kept on not following up and have not solved our issue, yet. I also find it appalling that their lawyer does not have curtesy of replying to us and Lawbite did not provide any explanation on what is going on.

In summary Lawbite might be good with simple tasks, T&C preparation etc based on our experience we won’t TRUST them with any important matter.

We used LawBites for terms and conditions for my business. It was quick and easy to start a job but we weren't told there was a limit to the number of amends we could have. Had we know this, we would have changed the way we briefed the project. We asked for a third set of amends after the second was missing things like cancellation terms and made incorrect assumptions, despite us having told the solicitor how our industry worked, and were told this was the final version we were getting. As such, were left with a set of T&Cs that we still needed to work on. What was handed over was numbered incorrectly, jumping from point 5 to point 7, with vital omissions (contract term, for example) and still needed a lot of work doing. It was a bit of a waste of money. I wouldn't use them again or recommend them.

Not a great experience at all. Never got the promised 15 minute call. After two messages in the portal I was told they didn't have a lawyer to help - but my sense is that after the issue was explained they probably felt there wasn't enough in it to keep them interested. If that's the case it's totally fine and understandable but a quick call to explain would have been enormously beneficial as now i don't know whether to try someone else or whether the issue is not 'legal'.
