This is the first time I have used an online agent. I usually use one of the High Street estate agents but this time I decided to go it alone. There’s no doubt that it takes a lot of work when you are doing it yourself, for example, writing descriptions, taking the photos, uploading everything, working out the detail.

I also found the website a bit tricky to use and it wasn’t clear what all the different functions were. I did struggle with this quite a lot and it took up a lot of my time trying to work things out. However, 99home were there every step of the way.

Once my property was up and ready for verification, I received a phone call from one of their agents, Payal. She was very good at talking me through things and explaining what the next stages were and discussing what would happen next. She also found out information for me in terms of HMO licences. As I said, I normally leave it to the estate agent, so my knowledge of everything wasn't as comprehensive.

My listing was then taken over by Ishan. Again, he was with me every step of the way. He was quick to respond either by telephone or email, explained procedures and next steps.

Once we had chosen tenants, 99home took care of the rest. At the very last minute, I decided I wanted a professional inventory rather than doing it myself. Ishan got that sorted within 24 hours!

I cannot fault the communication of 99home, it was excellent. It was also good to speak to human beings rather than relying on everything being done online via email. Every time I had a question, Ishan very quickly went to find out the answer for me and provide me with any documentation that I needed.

The reason I have given four stars and not five, is that the website needs more clarification. Although I have successfully rented my flat through 99home, it would be good if 99home could provide a video user guide that talks you through the entire website. I did look for this, eg on YouTube, but couldn’t find any information.

Overall the experience was very good, the staff were very polite, helpful and patient, and I will definitely use 99home again.
