I used Duffield Harrison as my solicitors as a first time buyer for my flat in London and they couldn’t have made the process more easy. From the very start they explained what I needed to supply and when, and then kept me informed throughout the whole process.

For anyone, buying a property for the first time can be super stressful, but I didn’t feel that at all because of how thorough and simple Lorna and her team made it.

I appreciate all of their efforts so much - they made their way through what must have been a ton of work not just thoroughly but with an incredibly quick turnaround - all the while being extremely polite and helpful with any of my basic questions.

I’d heard from friends that the solicitor aspect of buying a property is the hardest part, but that absolutely wasn’t the case with Duffield Harrison. I’d massively recommend them to anyone.

My husband died recently after a short terminal illness. I had requested the original copy of his old will from them, as it was almost 30 years ago. It was initially by email in March, this was then followed by 5 telephone calls requesting it, including an official complaint that it had taken 8 months with no response. Only after another complaint because I'd had nothing back from the first complaint did I eventually get a resolution. Shocking and shameful way to treat a previous client and a bereaved widow. And when you promise to call someone back then you need to do so.

Had our WILLS done here for a very reasonable price.(£200 each).Was given excellent advise by Solicitor Rebecca Grant. I'm so glad I have done a will now as I have been putting it off for years assuming it would be expensive and not knowing what it involved. Don't delay, do your WILL!
Rebecca really knows her stuff with Wills & Probate rules.

Still no news on my friends probate ,nearly a year now nothing done as far as we now .No information on how far it has gone no communication unless we call
