Fell in love with a sofa at such a good price aswell but won’t deliver to the second floor. I asked if they could etleast deliver to the first floor and il get some help to bring it up the one flight but no they wasn’t willing to do that either. I’m gutted. My current sofa is falling apart so another one is needed fast.

Visited the Hastings store twice and each occasion, we were totally ignored. No acknowledgement, good morning etc. This morning two staff (males in the same position as last time) were sitting chatting on two of the sofas for sale and engaging with two other staff (females) near the till. We felt uncomfortable to the extent we were an interruption. Extremely poor and disappointed. We certainly won't be purchasing or returning.

Bought a 2 seater sofa from the Hastings store to replace my 3 seater sofa which is in very good condition with fire labels etc. They agreed to deliver the new sofa and collect my 3 seater at the same time. However when the sofa was delivered I was told by the delivery man that they couldn't collect my sofa but would collect it the following Saturday. When I phoned the Hastings store to confirm this I was told they had no record of this and the earliest they could collect was Monday but I had to be in all day, which was not possible. The man I spoke to was offhand and unhelpful. I will NOT be dealing with BHF again.

Rudest,most arrogant shop I've ever been in. Yes I did purchase a sofa as this was priced well however the experience was SHOCKING! Arrived at 10am l liked a sofa. Asked if could hold for an hour and half as wanted to visit the Eastbourne branch first.... "No we can't hold items...." Ermmm sorry your a charity shop! Nothing in Eastbourne branch so came back to purchase the sofa. Happy days still there. Upon purchase quick enough to take money then after payment gone through the audacity to say we do t like delivering to 3rd floor flats and that will lose delivery charge now.... Ermmmm No no I won't! Delivery drivers where nice and no issues. But the shop absolutely SHOCKING, RUDE, OBNOXIOUS And I can 100% say I will never go back into this shop. Learn manners and customer service skills. Avoid this shop at all costs.

Bought a 3 and 2 seater sofa from here 10 months ago and today tried to donate it back. I live alone and am the only person to have used the sofa. I’ve been told they can’t take it because it’s too scratched despite it being in EXACTLY the same condition they sold it to me in! I’ve hired a van and made them aware I was coming so now my good deed has cost me over £200. I will not be using this store or donating to BHF again! Absolute waste of time and money!

Absolute joke dealing with this shop. Paid for a sofa and chair. The delivery driver turned up without the good and said it won't fit in through the door. Strange as bigger items have fitted both ways in and out. Went back to shop for £850 refund but was told only headoffice can deal with it and I may get a bank transfer in a few weeks. I paid in cash but they refuse to make the refund as it was paid. Shocking. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Had been advised to buy my white goods in BHF Hastings as they were recommended. Lee on the shop floor was absolutely lovely and showed me around to see just what I needed. So I bought two appliances which were delivered that same week. The delivery guys were terrific. They went above and beyond what was expected. Helpful, polite and very sweet. I would heartily recommend using this charity as the choice is astounding and each appliance has at least 6 month guarantee. It’s really well worth a visit. Many thanks 🙏

Today I bought a Circle Table only £3.

Here I found 40" Television with Stand only in £30.

Very impressive I must appreciate it.

Anyone can get households furniture from here.
