Truly excellent. Very good selection of meat, including outstanding dry aged steaks. Tip: try the marinated skewers and short ribs, they are delicious. The owner is friendly and always with a smile. Highly recommended!

Bought a steak from the window and asked for 500-600 grams, which I got as I weighed it at home , 565 grams, but that didn’t stop him charging me nearly £25 despite it being advertised as £37.99/ kilo. I’ve been around a while, and butcher my own meat, so I knew he had done me but said nothing as he didn’t put a label on with the weight and price, but I wanted to give him the benefit of doubt at the time.
Won’t go back despite the quality of the meat on display. It’s only a few quid but it isn’t about that. He didn’t even cut the steak parallel, so now I’ve got an uneven steak to cook.
