We paid the final bill before moving Country and called them to get confirmation that we had paid in full, they confirmed and we closed the account. Now 7 months later they are sending a court summons saying that our account has an unpaid payment and now there is an additional £70 summons fee. Called and emailed to dispute it but they say they did everything then needed to on their end and are now threatening us with 'recovery action' if we don't pay. This is the most ridiculous thing as we paid everything, got verbal confirmation and then closed. They are now 7 months later claiming that the final payment bounced. It's a joke and they are disgusting, I'm so glad we moved because they are absolutely useless. They never picked up our bins, lost our bin more then once, never cleaned up our streets and seemingly used our taxes for nothing. It's a waste, I wish I could give 0 stars.

I have been trying for weeks to speak to someone in the Pollution and Public Health team, regarding a dog issue next door. I am repeatedly told that no-one will speak to me directly to provide guidance. Who the hell do these arrogant, self righteous people think they are?
It is quite evident that us mere mortals are beneath these demi-gods, looking down on us from their Ivory Towers. Their attitude is utterly astounding and I'm left with having to relay messages through the staff on the front line.

Everyone remembers Mrs Thatcher stole our milk. This lot are stealing our school transport. From September 100's of kids will have to walk along busy streets to get to school. Especially dangerous on dark rainy mornings. I feel sorry for those of our children with asthma and other breating problems having all the exhaust fumes to deal with. Not the best. They missed bin collections then refuse to take them then next collection day. When reported I was told I'd have to pay £17 per 3 bags, you joking then she says you can't have a skip. I pay council tax so take the bins when your meant too I even raised a complaint not heard back and its been weeks. The woman was assuming that it was recycling when it was black bag waste. Then the bin men put stickers on the bags. This council over charge, have ignorant and assumptions staff who are clearly incompetent in replying to complaints.

As for the Christmas lights, what a disgrace 2 snow and 2 Xmas pudding in the main part of the town on lamp posts with a random wire of lights around the large tree that looks like a 6 year old threw it up. We pay enough council for more than that. I recorn they spend it all fancy tea and coffee for their office instead of the community they work for. I want us to get our moneys worth and this isn't it. Do better.

Have not had a bad experience when ring general enquiries but that where it stops. General enquiries does what they suppose to and refers you on but then do not here from anybody.
Also had a debt with them and they use ajenforce to collect payments who are not nice to deal with.

Need to do more to support the community! What are you going to do about Beddau Children's Community Home?! Residents on the street are having a nightmare with the kids placed there. Verbal abuse, things being thrown at people, houses, cars, in gardens. We deserve to be able to enjoy our homes and community without this antisocial behaviour! They shouldn't be allowed to terrorise residents. They need to be somewhere that can cater for their individual needs.

Absolutely shocking council. Done work outside my property to the road and left the outside like a tip. Contacted them and nothing has been done still from last July. This would have a zero if I could they do not deserve a 1*

Most horrible council ive ever had the displeasure of being under along with associates trivallis. NO compassion, no help offered, absolutely DIGESTING. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
