Seems a brilliant cafe at first, visited Sunday mid morning. Wasn’t too too busy but ordered rarebit, 2 sausage baps and a panini. Service was extremely slow and we waited 45 minutes for food and only came out after asking.
Food was mid. Very let down and no apology of slow service even with plenty of staff working.
Make sure you have plenty of time to stop before coming here

First visit to this cafe in Penyffordd. Prebooked by our walk leader. The staff were lovely it was very busy on a (Thursday) lunch time. Our group thought the food was very good, and reasonably priced. We will definitely use this cafe again.

Visited with family in the week for lunch, it wasn’t overly busy but still had to wait a while before the food arrived.

I had the tuna panini, that evening and the next day I’d never been so poorly with sickness from this. Due to this it’s put me off returning.

However my family did enjoy their food when it eventually arrived, they had the breakfasts and couldn’t fault it.

Great place staff lovely and food is always really nice. We’ve been a number of times with our family for breakfast and each time it’s been faultless.

The service provided is exceedingly poor, particularly concerning pottery orders. Not receiving the items for which we have paid. My wife has been waiting for four weeks for a painted plate and a cat figurine created by our children during their visit. We were informed that these items would be ready for collection within two weeks, and that we would receive a call once they were available. However, we have yet to receive anything. After sending a message, we have not received any response, and now, after four weeks, we decided to visit to inquire about our items and collect. It seems that there is a lack of record-keeping regarding the pottery created and the individuals who have paid for them already. Given the busy nature of the café, the staff were unable to assist or provide any time to even care. Being told they would search for our items after their staff, promising to call us back regarding collection. I have little confidence in either receiving a call or our kids pottery. This situation feels like a complete scam, taking money from customers without delivering the products.

We always visit here for a breakfast, when we stay locally, and it never fails to deliver. The cafe also offers lucnh too. The food is delicious and plentiful, with a good menu range. The cakes are delicious too. Staff and management are friendly and attentive. This is a fantsastic little place.

Excellent breakfast, although I would recommend the big one over the mini and it’s less than twice the price!
Good coffee too.
