This firm handled the death of my sister, her will and estate appallingly, as they did my father's will and estate sixteen years ago. It was like they don't know what a family is, as if they don't have family of their own - devoid of understanding, and lacking humanity. As executors of my sister's will and my father's they have been cold and heartless.
In Scottish law, parents can't write their children out of their will, this firm wrote me out of my father's will, and completely ignored me in dealing with my sister's; except when they wanted something from me. They wanted me to sign my lair document over to my sister so that she could be buried next to my mother, but were unwilling to reciprocate any favours in return. Instead, they ignored my emails. All I wanted, since I was the only family alive my sister had and the only person who had any idea of what was in her estate, was to get some information to have peace of mind that my sister's estate was being handled appropriately and she wasn't being robbed.
This firm has left me with no choice but to suspect them of malpractice.

Excellent service provided by Lambert & Co. Made the process of buying and selling property a little less stressful! All of the staff were extremely patient, helpful and above all else, professional. Wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future.

I can’t comment on all their services but as executor of a Will I found them very disappointing, I am an elderly widow I felt they lacked empathy never once saying sorry for your loss . It was a week after I reported the death before I received a response . Poor communication never returned phone calls rarely answered emails when they did they were signed by the woman who deals with house sales not the solicitor found her to be unhelpful and not at all friendly .
I found this firms response to my review “ non-client “ in very poor taste as sadly my late partner was the client .

We used Lambert and Co whilst buying our first home and cannot fault them. The staff went above & beyond to keep us updated & help us throughout the process, taking time to explain anything we didn’t understand.
