Totally unprofessional. No terms of engagement provided. No contact for two months despite numerous attempts. Once I mentioned we were taking the case elsewhere chris had apparently completed 1200 pounds worth of work. His response was condescending, rude, unprofessional and ultimately illustrated he had not even looked at the documents provided never mind complete any work as he suggested.
I then submitted a GDPR request. He failed to comply. For a solicitors practice to not comply with GDPR illustrates how incompetent they are.
I wish I'd read the previous review on how he was spoken to like a dog, because that exactly how the eventual response spoke to me.
Avoid avoid avoid. We moved onto another solicitor who immediately provided terms of engagement and explained we may not even need the court application we initially thought we might. Someone who actually knew the law in regards to our issue, who actually looked at our documents and who acted immediately with clear advice
