Having worked for 40 & 31yrs respectively & one of us receiving bad advice from the administrators of our employer’s pension scheme, our retirement & financial planning had become disorganised & costly to us. On a personal level, Chris is a gentleman, he is patient, understanding & ‘knows his stuff’.

I am very pleased to be able to write this review for Agile IFA, my wife and I were approaching early retirement and after a 'not so good experience' with a large corporate company, we decided to search around for someone that would treat us as individuals. Our reasons and circumstances for looking for an advisor were that we had not used one for many years but were increasingly conscious that our portfolio was increasing as we got older and into our 70's. We became more aware, particularly, of the need to obtain advice about inheritance planning. We began by looking at a number of advisors online, but the Agile website stood out by being so well presented with plain language, clear information and good references.
Chris and his team promptly contacted us and an initial meeting was arranged. This was followed by two further meetings over the next two months as our financial details and objectives were explained and examined, including our approach to risk. From these meetings Chris and his team prepared a detailed written report of the options we might consider. There were no surprises in this as it had been fully discussed already. During this process Chris and his team answered any ad hoc queries we had outside of the meetings and were very prompt, helpful and professional in ensuring that our queries were not only answered but fully understood by ourselves.
Everything that we had hoped for regarding our initial objective has been achieved. In addition to being very professional all members of the team have been very friendly and a good working relationship was quickly established. Also additional advice, over and above the original brief, has been received for which we are very grateful. We will be acting upon this in due course, again through Agile
