I was left very disappointed with the service I received from one of the senior solicitors. The communications started well, however, after a few months I found her tone quite dismissive. I had broken my neck in an accident caused by the culmination of a neglected building and bad weather. a 6ft piece of concrete render was blown off a building as I walked past one evening, landing on my head and leaving me unconscious and with a broken neck. I was a small business owner and the sole income for my family. The solicitor did not agree with my claim amount, she sent dismissive emails which with my state of mind at the time (post traumatic stress disorder) I started to feel like I was in the wrong. I felt put-off pursuing the best claim outcome. I really did not feel she had my best interests at heart, when I emailed her with my feedback, again, no desire to support me. There was no drive or determination to get the best outcome, I felt like I was just another claim to close off, get the commission and move on. Disappointing!
