If I could give zero stars, I would.
Extremely rude and always late. I had a couple of important appointments and only used this service because I couldn’t find another taxi. Even though I booked well in advance, they still managed to turn up late every time.

One time, I had just had ACL reconstruction surgery and was on crutches, waiting outside for over 30 minutes past the scheduled time — and they were fully aware of my condition. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid if you can.

We had the NICEST taxi driver ever. He was so knowledgeable and lovely. He gave us great recommendations about what to do in town. Can’t remember his name but a really nice blonde local!!

Excellent service. Helpful bookings staff. Good prepay option for booking ahead. And on our trip to Bury last night we were driven in an immaculate Mercedes V-class minibus and the driver Nitu let us control the music so that he would not need to touch his phone, and switched on the disco lights for us so we could party all the way home. Mr Sinan Maba from A1 Cars collected us from Stansted airport today. He was really a great driver, personable, on time, keeping me up to date on collection time and location. The car was comfortable, spotless, with bottles of water on the rear if you needed it.
I would highly recommend and will definitely use this company again.

Despite booking a taxi over a week in advance for a friend's 50th birthday, we waited outside for 40 minutes. When I called them they said that they were running late. When I suggested that perhaps next time they call to let us know, they said they couldn't because there was only one lady on the telephone switchboard. About 15 minutes later the driver called and said they were here, which they were not.
A very disappointing service received.
I will certainly think twice before booking with A1 for our next event.
