Colin and his crew are absolutely wonderful! They are always on time and very professional. We recently had some outdoor sockets and an EV charger fitted. Even though the charger was scheduled to be fitted at a future date, Colin coordinated with us to get everything done on the same day; what a result! Colin is an absolute joy to be around and is very trustworthy. We have had no issues with him and his team completing work while we aren’t at home. Also, our dogs really like him which says a lot. If you are looking for a very professional team to do any electrical work, give Colin Barson Electrical Services a call.

I cannot comment on the reviews of others here but frankly find it hard to believe when I read these negative reviews? Colin and his team completed a very large project/rewire on our property as part of a refurbishment which totalled in excess of £70,000 (dont panic that was not the cost of the electrical, rather the whole project on a new kitchen/diner/utility room an all associated work!). So as you can imagine we do not scrimp and expect excellent work. Colin's quote was reasonable for the electrical work and all was carried out whilst communicating with us excellently at every step of the process and ensuring everything worked exactly as planned. Myself and my family cannot recommend Colin and the team highly enough and the finish product is absolutely fantastic and we love the beauty and functionality of all of our zoned lighting. I would urge anybody looking for electrical work in the local area (Chatteris and surrounds) to get Colin in to quote and make their own minds up as we are genuinely thrilled with their clean, precise and well thought out rewire of the majority of our downstairs fllorplan. I would never comment on other reviewers as people have a right to their own opinion but our electrical fit was a real highlight of our whole build along with our builder and kitchen fitter. Thanks Colin, Scott and Kieran and we would not hesitate to part with our hard earned cash to use this company for any electrical needs in future which is surely the most honest recommendation you can give?!!

Worst experience with a tradesman ever. One star was one star too much. Another electrician had to be brought in to put things right. Unbelievably awful. Nightmare that never seemed to end.
