I dealt with a company calling its self engine engineers at this unit, (They have rebranded to engine restore).
They took my car and close to £5,000 neither have I seen since and that was over four months ago, they also tried to close their company on companies house which would void any fictitious warranty on a vehicle I am unlikely to get back, they are without doubt con artists.
Likewise the "Good reviews" look rather dubious too.

I know this company as Engine recon Ltd, they use various other names. Please don't use this company they are con artists, they initially quoted me £3,000 and then rang me back saying sorry its now £8,000 they will ignore your every call and text at every cost lied to me every step " the car will be ready in 2 weeks" this acutaly took 6 months. To top it off the engine has come back and is terrible and the damage to my vehicle is unacceptable. Please at all costs be very cautious if you choose to use this company. I won't be ever using them again !

Right where do I start. Waited 2 weeks after they picked the van up did not even call or texted me. I called them they said if u don’t trust us come and get your van back. They started the work at £2700 ended up costing me £9000. Had a big scratch down the side of the van. The woman there is so nice until they had my van she was like the grinch, all they wanted was more money what could I say my van was in bits. They called me saying the turbo was fuxxxked I had to go there have it checked myself and it came back A1 condition nothing wrong with it. They said if they fit it the warranty will be void . Anyway got my van back 3 months later and no power they said it’s the turbo or the injectors so I had to go back there take my injectors to be tested they was ok. Anyway it took 6 months in all to get my van back. Hooter, central locking, heating, clock don’t work and I get burning oil smell as well I had it tested by an auto electrician and he said they have damaged the modula ? Now I have booked it in with a Macanic near me fuxxxk taking it back to them I’ll never c the van again. The woman there can’t say her name is a witch please don’t go there u will regret it believe me …..
