Ive had a disappointing experience with Arc Legal Group. The customer service was lacking; my inquiries were often met with delayed responses and a lack of clear answers.
I doubt from any of the reviews anyone's claim with this company enjoy any chance of success. I have a solicitor from a big reputable firm that is dealing with my claim and is satisfied that my claim has OVER 70% chance of success. However Arc legal are trying to claim that it below this chance of success to clearly avoid paying out. Pointless cover. If zero was a rating then that's would I would have opted for. Not worthy of 1 star!

I wish I'd read these review before going ahead. They're not fit for purpose. They delay, obstruct, take more money, because their inadequate systems can't find you and then eventually they deny your claim. I will never go with a broker that partners with these jokers again and they're not fit for purpose.

If your insurance company partners with this one for legal cover provider then don't waste your money. They will find any reason not to move forward with your claim, despite a private law firm giving completely contrary opinion. You only have to see all the previous reviews that have the same sentiment. Will never take legal cover again, lessons learnt!!

Shocking response and service. Trying to start a claim and my deadline is 19th and still no contact from a solicitor. They are going to be the reason my claim will be date barred! It shouldn't take over a month to start a claim and hear from a solicitor. Absolute cowboy firm. Lucy is poor with her response and Janice is just as useless

I am currently having a frustrating experience with Esure’s legal insurance, specifically regarding the handling of my husband's employment issues. Throughout the process, we received guidance from Arc Legal, which we followed diligently. However, when it came time to submit our claim, they Arc Legal overlooked crucial points of law that they had previously indicated were relevant, leading us to object to their assessment.
Subsequently, they forwarded our case to another law firm for evaluation. Unfortunately, this firm misrepresented key facts and applied incorrect laws to our claim. We highlighted these errors, yet after a second assessment, they maintained their position of denial, again overlooking significant details that bolster our case.
To add insult to injury, the assessment concluded that while they believe one of the claims has merit, the anticipated legal fees would exceed the claim's value, leaving us without legal representation. We had to argue this point previously as they had applied the wrong laws.
This experience raises serious concerns about the value of purchasing legal insurance from Esure. Customers might expect comprehensive support for employment-related issues, only to find that their case is mishandled and misrepresented, resulting in a lack of adequate legal assistance. Thus leaving you to face an employment tribunal alone where you thought you had cover.
UPDATE:
I have since complained to the external solicitor and Arc Legal and haven't heard a thing for over a week.
I am thinking I should now progress this with the FOS.
I have a PH in a month and they still have not got a single assessment correct.
I highly recommend not using any legal insurance provider that uses Arc Legal based on my experience.

Firm only interested in looking for excuses not to insure we gave them a belt and braces way to get our claim over the line showed them on many different occassions how the declinature was incorrect and they did not respond properly. Do not trust them I repeat do not trust them, get an insurance policy away from this unprofessional company.

It’s been over 24 months since the claim was passed to debt recovery solicitors. Still waiting for an update from the (third) claim handler as to why there has been no progress. Made an official complaint which they did not agree to. Another year passed and another complaint. This time upheld with £150 compensation. BUT still no update, response to email questions or apparent progress. Terrible company to deal with.

I have applied multiple times since last few years, and always they declined, although the private solicitors say that i have got better chance of claiming. #so now whenever i renew my home policy , i check with them the legal company they have , if they have Arc legal its no no, but if its RAC or DAS I would go for it.
