I have had many dealings with lawyers of all types over the years, and although none ever strike me as fully competent, I can safely say that Eaton-Evans & Morris are the most abysmal solicitors I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Following the very painful loss of my wonderful mother, my family and I met with EE&M for the reading of her Will. Not a particularly complex Will, but EE&M were seemingly determined to make it the most complicated, difficult to understand and ambiguous Will ever written - oh, and they wrote it.

As a result of their complete lack of understanding of BASIC legal principles - for example, trusts, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, who exactly the 'beneficiaries' were - we have been left with SO many questions and a nightmare to unravel.

When people are grief stricken, they need clear, concise instruction and explanation. You are emotionally exhausted, barely surviving, at the brink of sanity every day. Your solicitors are supposed to HELP in these times. That's why my mum paid EE&M all that money. And trust me, they ain't cheap. Far from it. But when it came down to business, it's almost as though they took pride in confusing us.

In the years that have passed since mum's death, we have realised that we were woefully misinformed with regards to her Will. Whenever we have contacted EE&M for clarity, we're told, 'they can't be sure…but' or, 'well, it isn't clear, but…'

We as a family are now faced with having to deal with a probate process, hiring additional expert lawyers, costing us even more money, ALL of which could have been entirely avoided had EE&M understood my mother's Will correctly.

Avoid them like the plague. A classic ancient Pembrokeshire business, riding on the coat tails of an out of date reputation of trust and decency, whilst being so incredibly out of touch. EE&M are incompetent, slow, unreliable and expensive.

I don’t write this review in the hope we get some sort of support or freebie from EE&M. In fact, I never want to hear from them ever again. It is simply a warning. The death of my mum was by far the worst thing to ever happen to me and my family. Thanks to EE&M, the pain continues to be drawn out, as more and more realisations of just how misguided we were come to light.
