From the minute I first walked into Gannons, when I was falling apart, Alan put me at ease. He explained everything, and treated me with so much kindness.
He was always available by phone or email when I or my family needed him.
Even though I was only one of many of his customers, Alan made me feel like I was the only one.
The funeral ran seamlessly . My whole family was treated with respect and kindness, and then again when I collected my husbands ashes from him, I received the same support.
I hope not to need Alan's services for a long while, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Gannons & sons.

Alan and the whole team at Ganonnon &Sons are simply wonderful. It was my first time using a Funeral Directors and I was very nervous, unsure and a little bit lost on how to proceed with everything. But Gannon and son's talked me through the whole process and arranged many things on my behalf whilst also reassuring me and advising me and how to move forward. I would highly recommend, especially to first timers.

We have just had our daughter aged 32 in the care of Alan
From the moment we contacted alan we felt our daughter was being well cared for .
The first meeting was a very caring calm time
Alan was very kind and told us everything we needed to know and we didn’t feel rushed.
The funeral price was all in the paperwork and we wasn’t pushed into anything .
We wanted horse and carriage (our daughters choice) and he arranged it all right down to all the staff wearing yellow ties the horses had yellow feathers and saddlecloths .
They gave our 2 young grandchildren horse shoes in a little bag .
Today we went to collect her ashes and again Alan was so kind never a rush or pushy just a lovely gentleman .
We would not use any other funeral home ever again and have put in our wills when our time to go that we want to be cared for by him .

For this funeral directors, nothing is too much trouble. He carries out a very traditional process and allows you to be in control. Could not thank the Alan and the team for everything they have done for me and my family . Thankyou so much .

Alan and his team made a very stressful, upsetting time so much easier. I also found Alan to be very reassuring and calm. I would recommend Gannon and Sons to anyone. Alan was always available to call and email, getting back to me in a really timely manner. I had never arranged a funeral before and his help and advice was excellent. All in all hopefully I won’t have to use them again soon but if I did need to I wouldn’t hesitate.

When going through one of the hardest times in your life, Alan and his team are who you need. The whole experience was personalised, he listened to what we asked for and not once did he try and upsell any aspect of the funeral. Our Mum did not want any fuss, she wanted a simple service and Alan provided that for her. Our family were never made to feel like anything was too much, we will be forever grateful for the kindness and compassion shown by Alan. The empathy shown by Alan was genuine, he was respectful to our Mum whilst she was in his care.
