Exceptional care and considerate, empathetic support that carried me through my life's greatest challenge.

I had been charged with assualt and forced entry and on the advice of the duty solicitor had been convinced my best approach was to state my guilt and apologise. Having received misguided advice early on in my proceedings I had nailed my coffin shut.

Gerard Maye Legal took over my case 4 weeks from trial and in this short time completely turned it around. I am now a free man once more with my life, my dignity and my reputation intact. This I must say is a conditional discharge which was more than could have been hoped for.

I would have lost my job and seen my prospects crumble in front of my eyes and yet here I stand today wishing I hadn't focused on cost and realising I only have one shot to make things right. To Gerard, Mahesh and Marisa I wholeheartedly thank you for not only ensuring this was handled as best as possible but in fact understanding the busy nature of my schedule and working around my circumstances to ensure I always felt supported.

My heart is singing with joy and gratitude. I know I will sleep easy for the first time in many a month.

Awful experience - I was on legal aid and also guilty so they did the barest minimum. My 'solicitor' did almost no prep, nothing for 'mitigating circumstances'. Despite zero experience I actually had to prepare a defence myself. Complaint to them got me nowhere and no other firm would take me on half way through as no money in it. Soul destroying.
