Very Disappointed with FORSTER\\DEAN Solicitors
I had a terrible experience with FORSTER\\DEAN Solicitors after my car accident. I suffered serious injuries, including damage to my lower back and knees, and I required a shoulder operation. I also experienced headaches for almost a year and needed about 60 hours of chiropractic treatment.

Despite all this, I received no compensation for my chiropractic treatments or my knee operation. After taking 8 weeks off work due to my injuries, the total compensation awarded to me was only £10,990. Out of this, I received just £4,500. When I called to inquire, I was told I received a large sum, but I was very dissatisfied. After 5 years of being in and out of work due to my injuries, I only received £175 for lost earnings.

The solicitors were unprofessional, rude, and I felt ripped off. I do not recommend FORSTER\\DEAN Solicitors as they did not handle my case adequately and left me very frustrated and disappointed.

We received the letter from this solicitors. The namne of the addressee was wrong. As such, the form creted to sign was invalid. We call the solicitor's direct line, but it went to voice message box. We left a voice message, but we did not get a call back. Therefore, we call the general line. The operator pass the line to the solicitor's address/assistant. She took about 16 minutes to understand and correct the name. We had a question about the required identity document, as well as bank statement. She could not answer about the soft copy (PDF file) of the bank statement, although the most of the bank stopped supplied printed version (paperless) and only the softcopy/PDF statement. Regarding the "Certified Copy of ID", she insisted that they need the certified ID, although the Law Society Guideline allow the flexibility. Furthermore, the Law Society's Guideline was for the Client and we were not the client. We were helping a freind's purchase of the property as "gift" of money. We were asked to provide the bank statements, in order to satisfy the source of the "gift", which we agreed, although it was unusual. The bak has already checked the ID when zthe bank account was opened. They said that they will send the correct form by an E-Mail, which they have not yet done. We send an E-Mail regarding the matter, but no response.
In summary, the standard of service ws very bad and we recommend to avoid this solicitors if possible. You may regret to use them if something happens in the process.

I don't think i have ever experienced a company work so hard to make the 'seemingly impossible' happen! They have managed the conveyancing for our house sale and purchase, handling numerous 'curve balls' extremely well along the way, and somehow kept the whole thing on the rails...

We were always able to get in direct contact and call backs were followed up as expected. Despite the pressures/uncertainties the current pandemic has caused, the level of service provided was great and the process completed smoothly on our end.
