I can't recommend Parsonage & Co enough, having had a negative experience with family solicitors in the past, it was refreshing to deal with such a professional, friendly, compassionate and moral firm who actually care. Sylvia and her team were a pleasure to deal with from day one, supportive, always attentive to my requirements and doing their upmost to get the most favourable outcome for me, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I categorically do not recommend engaging this firm, particularly for divorce proceedings. The solicitors here, under the guise of professionalism, are more likely twist facts, distort events, and exacerbate the stress and emotional toll already inherent in such situations. For parents navigating the complexities of custody and child arrangements, this firm’s approach risks introducing unwarranted levels of distress, compounding an already challenging process. Such blatant misconstruing, twisting of facts not only disrupts and derails legal proceedings but creates unnecessary complications for both parties involved. This is critical to note not just for those opposing their clients but also for those instructing this firm. Their approach risks entangling their own clients in further legal and emotional turmoil what might have initially been a straightforward case. It is evident that the letter I received from Fidelma McCarthy appears to be a mere reproduction of baseless claims and unsubstantiated assertions dictated by my husband, rather than an independent, fact-checked legal communication. Despite claiming to have reviewed the communication history, the letter blatantly misrepresents the facts and even audaciously insinuates that my son could be removed from my care, despite my husband’s lack of consistent involvement or genuine interest in his upbringing. Such comments are wholly unprofessional and betray a lack of understanding of the solicitors role in such matters as my husband weaponises legal channels for harassment. Any competent solicitor acting in the best interests of a child would prioritize resolving these core concerns. Blindly disseminating misleading or defamatory information contravenes the SRA Standards and Regulations, the Defamation Act 2013, the Harassment Act 1997, and constitutes professional negligence. A letter intended to intimidate or cause distress may also fall within the scope of harassment under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. This conduct demonstrates an abuse of position and a clear breach of ethical standards. Despite my comprehensive response requesting clarity on our sons well being, such as addressing screen time, sourcing appropriate clothing, and ensuring proper arrangements for his care, which was only a portion of the issues raised, none of these matters were addressed. Now Parsonage & Co. appears to have my husband on the hook, exploiting the situation for additional fees, such as consultations on how to silence my review. My husband, now entangled in his own lies, is compelled to fund escalating costs while the core issues concerning our son’s well-being remain unresolved. Exercise extreme caution before parting with even a penny to this firm. Their lack of competence will unnecessarily complicate your case, causing immense stress, wasted time, and grief for all parties involved. What could have been a straightforward matter will be drawn out to the point where you’ll find yourself paying tenfold in both legal fees and emotional toll.Save yourself the unnecessary financial burden and emotional strain—steer clear of this firm.Your money and peace of mind are far better preserved elsewhere. Upon posting my review, instead of apologizing for blindly copying and pasting fabricated claims, this firm reverted to intimidation, with Sylvia Parsonage demanding I remove my review, falsely claiming I am not allowed to review them, despite the email being addressed directly to me and threatening an injunction for which I would purportedly be held financially responsible. This attempt to suppress freedom of speech via intimidation is both shocking and manipulative, further reflecting the firms practices. If you ve had similar experiences with this firm, I encourage you to submit a compliant to SRA. Disclaimer this review reflects my personal experience.

Really happy with this firm's handling of my matter. I understand that they have had reviews here from disgruntled ex husbands who have given a 1 star review. I would take that as a badge of honour. They were sensitive, efficient and got a great result.

Had to escalate my complaint to the ICO before these joker's complied with their obligations around GDPR. Avoid.

Edited to reply.

1. Doesn't change the fact you failed to comply with your responsibility to process an SAR until the ICO told you to.
2. Your client was so happy they moved their business to a firm in Kingston.

I have used Parsonage & Co for a number of different matters (house move, probate, will making & family law), and the level of service I received was exemplary.
The legal advice was always tailored to my personal situation, was practical and explained to me so that I could understand it - in a non-patronising way.
I was always kept up to date with all progress on my matters and any further questions that I had were always answered promptly.
A family solicitors that really does care about its clients, when dealing with what can be sensitive issues - compassionately & professionally.
I have recommend this firm of solicitors to many, many people and they have thanked me for doing so.
