for Shila, Attorney at Law:**

I had the privilege of having Shila represent me, and I cannot recommend her services enough. From the moment I presented my case to her, she exhibited an exemplary understanding of the law. What truly set her apart, however, was her impeccable communication skills. Throughout the entire process, she kept me informed and made complex legal jargon understandable. I genuinely felt that she was invested in my best interests, and the results of my case are a testament to her dedication and expertise. Anyone seeking legal representation would be fortunate to have Shila on their side. Highly recommended!

Communication few and far between, barrister rarely shows up, and court deadlines not met.

When at the last hearing, representing myself due to the non-appearance of my counsel, the judge advised me to in no uncertain terms "sort them out"; being as appalled at the service as me.

Who knows, perhaps the plan is to provide a service so poor as to result in a mistrial.

Don't waste your time.

THE HORROR SHOW

The solicitors sounded extremely competent on the phone at first (I was mostly dealing with Anne). But the receptionist is vile. She is nasty, rude and keeps hanging up the phone and putting me on silent hold. I made a complaint but nothing has changed. Ive spend a few hours just trying to get through as she keep putting me on silent hold without telling me. I thought there was something wrong with the line but no I think she just doesnt know telephone manners.

The firm lost my legal aid form and did not bother to tell me. I rang everyday but could not get through. This is partly due to the receptionist.
I spoke to an incredibly rude solicitor called Jonathan Wilkinson. He lost my legal aid form and once I finally got through to him after unanswered emails 36h before my court appearance he said he hasnt got it. He was incredibly rude and defensive and just told me this firm will not represent me.

I explained that I have send my legal aid form for 1pm special delivery for next day and of course expected Jonathan to inform me if he did not receive it. I send emails and called trying to confirm they have the paperwork. Turns out when delivery was attempted - there was no one there. How is this possible in a law firm? Royal Mail would have left a card for them to pick it up but there is a problem with an unprofessional receptionist in this firm so I guess that did not happen.

He refused to explain what happens on my court day and what my options are. I dont know if I can delay my court date due to no solicitor. I dont know what to do.

I was left in tears by Jonathan who apparently is a solicitor (I will report him). I cant go to court with no lawyer. Seeing as its quite a difficult time for anyone to go to court in the first place this behaviour is sociopathic. He had no empathy when I was crying on the phone and pleading with him to tell me what my options are.

I am not a lawyer but I am under the impression that I have options such as a "date stamp" but need more details. I have no idea what to do 36h before my trial.

Jonathan started behaving like a child to cover up for his mistake in handling my paperwork and told me that he has "instructed every lawyer in the firm not to take my call." So if I call I will go through to him and he will hang up the phone to my ear. I am left with no instructions or a lawyer 36h before my trial. He also blocked emails from me to the firm so I cant report him to the partners of the firm.

He is probably embarrassed he lost my legal aid form and trying to cover his tracks. This is completely unacceptable behaviour.

I am left crying without representation and no information what I am supposed to do before court.

Notice how one of this firms 5 star reviews has been left by Jonathan Wilkinson himself.
