Basically, they extract oil from the animal fat by churning them in the big grinders and store their blood in a big overhead tank, definitely the surrounding must be smelly and i visited the factory and must say they are reckless people. This factory is a bane to that beautiful village of Penrith.

No issues. Staff are friendly and I didn't wait too long before I was tipped.

Plenty of room in the yard to turn.

Beware the postcode. It may take you to the road at the back of the plant where there is no access. Check maps and you'll be fine.

As noted my many, there is a strong unpleasant odor here. But considering what the business does, it's not unexpected. Not really much you can do about it. So have a good sniff in, you'll soon get used to it! 😁

I was visiting my lovely sister Janet who lives in Penrith. We were dropping her son off at his playgroup one morning and as I got out of the car I was smacked in the face by an awfully pungunt pong. I asked Janet if it was her bowel problems playing up again but she turned around and explained that it was a local animal by-products processing plant. I decided to pay the manager of the plant a visit. I turned up to be greeted by an awfully unkept bloke. He had greasy, matted hair and stunk of BO and cigarettes. I tried explaining that the smell would stop tourists visiting and drive locals away but he just smirked, took a puff on his cigarette and chuckled. I have never been so publicly humiliated in my life! Utterly disgusting behaviour! I will only be back because Janet lives in Penrith.

Poor in health and safety and when we complain about health and safety issues to management, instead of solving problem, terminating the employee and the owner DANNY who threats every one on phone and abusive towards staff.
