I had an absolute terrible experience with Swift Lawyers! My solicitor Kayleigh never answered my calls, never responded to messages I left with reception, took up to 3 weeks to respond to the most basic of emails from myself and my sellers Solicitor and parts of my paperwork had to be resubmitted at the end due to her not correcting documents due to a price change - quite an obvious and basic task.

Luckily, my property sale was a private sale and I was able to communicate with my buyer directly who invariably would highlight to me the lack of communication and response from my solicitor at Swift Lawyers and articulating to me why we were incurring delays of nearly 8 months. Towards the end of my sale, after numerous days Kayleigh was off sick, I was told that if I wanted to expedite my file, I would need to pay hundreds more for it to be prioritised. This resulted in me having to complain to Home Legal Direct as I was in effect being held to ransom for them to work on my case. This clearly annoyed Kayleigh and following this, her emails and communication was rude, passive aggressive and she basically held me to ransom with her productivity on my case - she is extremely unprofessional in my experience. I cannot overemphasise enough NOT to use this firm.

After the sale of my property, I was discussing the poor experience with my best friend and ironically it materialised that she had also been assigned to Swift Lawyers by Home Legal Direct and had also had Kayleigh Harrison two years prior in 2022. She also had the exact same issues I had complained about and had made similar complaints due to a similar experience.
