Was recommended RSC solicitors by a family friend and could not fault them one bit. From the start I was told straight to the point on what to expect and what would likely happen. Elaine and Colin are exceptional in what they do and always fight your corner for your kids best interests. Colin Simpson is not fit to practice Law , he's unprofessional , incompetent , shutters his way through court and is completely unconvincing when delivering evidence in a court setting. He gave 15 mins notice for a Family Court case
, he sat there and said nothing in my defence and lost my case . He will inevitably loose your case should you employ him .RSC law firm are completely incompetent and extremely unprofessional , avoid this Law firm at all costs ! Colin Simpson is not fit to practice Law in Scotland.

I really liked Elaine - she's straight to the point, and was able to tell me in half an hour what another solicitor took an hour to tell. I've engaged her on financial separation, and she gives clear advice and instructions early on. Very experienced too. if you're new to family law solicitors, I recommend writing down what you want to ask at a meeting because it'll save time both you and the solicitor.

Absolute joke of a firm. I ended up getting significantly less contact with my son even after I started court action. Testimony to how incompetent they are. If you have genuine concerns over your childs welfare and can even provide proof regarding that, do yourself a favour and stay well clear of these money grabbers.

Hello to all parents are getting through to family court cases. My name is Jorge Palmero Iglesias , i started going to court represnting myself to fight for my son from 14/11/2014 against to my son's mama and her solicitor Colin M Simpson. This unprofessional guy that i ever would call a solicitor tried to take advance of i was representing myself as already mentioned. This guy start gathering information from the mama also child minder like:
1. i was given only pizza and burgers to my son in my contact days that were unfortunately only 2 days a week.
2. I was coming late to bring back my son from contacts.
3. He accused me of line down my boy for a sleep in my house although that my son had difficult mornings as the mama used to travel from Edinburgh to Berwick Upon Tweet to works so my so n has to wakes up at 6 am even if he starts at 9.20 at the school that was 10 minutes walk from his home.
4.. My son also used to follows sleep in the bus so i have been also accused of leave that to happens.
5. I have been accused of not putting on my son his jacket although he did not want to do it because he sometimes feels not cold.
6. The child minder told the mama that every time my son used to come back from contact with me he was in a mood and hated other kids so they manager to get a report from the child minder regarding those issues although that was not the same opinion in the school where my son spends most of his time.
6. They accused me of telling my son bud things about her mama .
7. This guy secretly planed with my son's mama to move away to Paxton Scottish bolder while the case still was in court that is not legal with out tell the court and reasons.

There for because of those points they strongly ask for not contact for ever but it never happens. I mean for a professional solicitor to ask for not contact with the dad is ridiculous. In two years my son's mama decided to kick him off and do it by herself and she has been doing better than him although that contact never has stopped.I am still going to court as whatever the mamas say the court believes and investigate.

PLEASE ALL THE PARENTS DO NOT GO TO LOOK FOR A SOLICITOR IN RSC SOLICITORS COMPANY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SUFFER ANY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
