The Reflective Practice has great integrity, clarity and honesty, three things that are often in short supply.
Their billing is clear and exceptional value compared to anything else I have experienced.
They are there to give you clear advice and the support that is necessary when your world is turned upside down.
Only regret was not coming across them sooner!

I cannot recommend Andrew and Colin highly enough. Without their support, advice and kindness during a very challenging time, I do not think I would have coped with managing the regulatory process I was in. My experience was that all the paperwork relevant to my case and the articulation of the argument was highly effective and led to a very positive outcome.

Just outstanding legal assistance when you don't understand the legislative mire that you must negotiate. I had an horrific experience of legal non entities who didn't understand education, before a cricket friend found TRP for me. Very grateful and superb value for money

Excellent advice and very professional. Worth every penny. Colin offered me some very honest advice and helped me to draft a response that I wouldn’t have been able to do alone. Communication via phone and email was brilliant and the video call was very helpful too.

The Reflective Practice were brilliant in all their interactions with me. I talked to a number of legal representatives before Colin and Andrew agreed to take on my case. A number of things stood them out over the course of the following 16 months (in no particular order):

- They were both very kind and patient with me. Attending a TRA hearing is both a very nerve-wracking but also a long, drawn out process. I had many wobbles along the way, but Colin was always good at reassuring me and helping me feel like my problems were shared by him and Andrew. At no point did I feel they saw me as a case number or clock watching, but instead I was given all the care and attention I needed, at the right times.
- They were very good at explaining all the legal processes and jargon; dealing with the TRA can be very daunting process, including all the letters and emails they send. Colin was very good at sitting me down and explaining what to expect at different stages and how it would all work.
- Chronology is key when presenting evidence. When asked to give a written testimony, in a bid to get all my wandering arguments down, this skill was lost in my written work. However, Colin did a fantastic job at helping me put some kind of coherency into what I wanted to say. There was a MOUNTAIN of written evidence to sift through and Colin was able to do so quickly and with a clear gift for perspicacity that meant I was able to make it clear for the panel the key arguments I was trying to get across.
- I was super impressed at how quickly Colin and Andrew were able to sift through everything to understand the multiple nuances and complexities in my case, almost within a day or two.
- They knew exactly when to offer me some TLC and when to be a bit more challenging to me to get on and do some of the less appealing parts of the legal process.
- There were many times when the pressure of the hearing almost became too much for me, but speaking to Colin always helped convince me that continuing was the right path.
- They were very good at explaining different options that were available to me, and the consequences of each path.
- I felt they were genuinely committed to the case and me – they had my interest at heart and a vested interest in ensuring the case was heard properly.
- Having them as a go-between / buffer between me and the TRA significantly reduced the mental stress on me.
- Dealing with the TRA is clearly their area of expertise – they were very comfortable with all aspects of the process, the people involved, the institutions involved, which gave me a lot of confidence and faith that they knew what they were doing and understood what the issues were in my case. They understand this sector/space very well. This latter point is not to be underestimated - this whole thing is a particular beast and you really do want people who are experts in this field. Having talked to some people who were not experts in this field, the chasm was huge between them in understanding my needs.
- Ultimately, I think they were true to their name – their approach was humane and personable, whilst being very professional and legal.
I genuinely cannot recommend The Reflective Practice enough – they were kind, professional and helped me through a process that I do not think I would have survived without their help. Independent of the outcome, (the case against me was dropped at the 11th hour citing no case to answer after the TRA saw the evidence submitted by me and the TRP), I was very happy going into the week of the actual hearing that I had prepared the best way possible.
