Fantastic place, booked a meal for a family 80th birthday, food was out of this world, I had steak and ale pie, best I've ever eaten, we will definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant. Unpretentious, relaxed with quality food, an interesting menu, all beautifully cooked. The only problem was the bread with the Wild Boar Terrine was burnt which has knocked a star off. We'll definitely go back.

We've been here about 6 times now and the last 2 times the portion size for the Sunday roast has shrunk dramatically! Odd though the price hasn't reduced in line with the lack of food.
Our last booking was for four people and we all agreed on the portions being small. Another family member has since been and they also commented on smaller portions.
Will we be eating there again? No. Will they miss us? No. Will we miss them? No.

We come here quite often and Unfortunately won't be going back. We all had a roast dinner and the meat seemed to be processed and not off a joint. The veg was bland and only just cooked. The portion size was completely different to before, a lot smaller and lacking in flavour. We actually left still feeling hungry and we've never had that problem there before as the portions were a good size.
Friends have been since and they've had the same problems so this wasn't a one off.

I did send an email and got no response so they've lost not only mine and my families trade but also my friends and their friends trade!

We stopped off here Friday for lunch.
An absolutely delightful place.
We chose 2 mains from the set menu £15 for 2.

All Mains and Desserts are very reasonably priced.
Very good service too.

Lovely spacious pub with plenty of seating outside.

What was also great here there was no music in the restaurant area, so we could converse really well without having to compete with background music, just the happy hubbub sound of voices and laughter.
We will certainly be returning 👍!

Nice pub with large outdoor area, but no garden. Was the old Hartlebury railway station and still on an active railway line, next to the level crossing. Had a "lighter" bite, which was nice. Visited at a quieter time, just before 3pm cutoff for food on a weekday. Friendly staff

Went with a large party with pre ordered food. The food was served on time however the plates were pretentious. The starter was served on a long narrow plate and food fell onto the table easily. The filling on the steak pie was superb, however the crust was very flaky and it was served only with chips and no vegetables.

Lovely pub. Really nice pleasant staff. Very dog friendly ( in bar only put plenty of room) restaurant through back. Really good food, special menu for lunch
