We engaged the services of Satchell Moran Solicitors with regard to our housing disrepair claim having read other reviews. Our property was inspected by their contracted expert and an extensive report was obtained, highlighting many issues of which even we were not aware. Suffice to say that our solicitor, Lois, negotiated a fair settlement for us and all of the repairs were made. Throughout the case Lois, ably assisted by Amber, kept us fully up to date with process and progress to a satisfactory conclusion. I can therefore thoroughly recommend Satchell Moran Solicitors.

Outstanding service! These solicitors demonstrated exceptional legal expertise, pinpointing multiple errors made by the Police. The force acknowledged its liability and proposed a settlement. The entire process was completed within four months, requiring minimal effort.

I would never use these again. From the start, even tho they had taken on the case, they sounded like they were on the side of the police! I already lost trust in these. I was still being targeted by the police and yet these did nothing. I got a small amount of the settled claim, which seemed unfair, considering they are meant to take 25%. I raised a complaint where I got a snotty email back, like most of the negative comments on here. When I instruct a solicitor, I expect them to work on my behalf in fighting the claim, not sounding like they are on the side of the defendant. I asked for time lines, never got them. Like I say, I'll never use them again, nor will I recommend them.

I cannot recommend Satchell Moran Solicitors and, in particular, Sarah Bacchus highly enough. My case involved a claim against the police for wrongful arrest and detention. I started the process with little expectation—more than anything, I just wanted acknowledgment that what had happened to me was wrong. From the very beginning, Sarah was absolutely amazing. She was patient, understanding, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly and ensuring I felt supported throughout. I can be quite analytical, and she never once made me feel like I was asking too much.

The outcome far exceeded my expectations. Not only did I receive a full written apology from the police, but the compensation was more than ten times what I had initially anticipated. Sarah even went back and negotiated an even better settlement after the initial offer! Her dedication and expertise made all the difference, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better solicitor.
