Unfortunately, I found that Ruth was not particularly helpful during our conversation. She mumbled throughout, which made it difficult to understand her, and seemed disengaged, which left me feeling frustrated and unsupported.

My recent experience with this firm has been nothing short of abysmal, characterised by unprofessional conduct, lack of communication, poor delivery of services, and an overall failure to support businesses like mine.

Firstly, the audit procedure carried out by their team was nothing short of a disaster. The process was riddled with inefficiencies, errors, and delays. It was clear that the team assigned to my account lacked the necessary expertise and professionalism. Their incompetence not only delayed our financial reporting but also led to numerous inaccuracies that have severely impacted our business operations. This level of service is utterly unacceptable from a firm that claims to be a leader in the field.

Furthermore, the lack of communication and transparency from them has been appalling. Throughout the audit and subsequent service engagements, there was a persistent failure to provide timely updates or respond to inquiries. My emails and phone calls often went unanswered for days, if not weeks, leaving me in a state of constant uncertainty about the status of our accounts. Such disregard for client communication is both unprofessional and disrespectful.

The delivery of core services such as VAT, Corporation Tax, and Statutory Accounts has been equally disappointing. Deadlines were consistently missed, and the quality of work delivered was subpar. On several occasions, the VAT returns were filed incorrectly, necessitating time-consuming corrections. The handling of Corporation Tax was similarly flawed, with critical errors that could have had serious financial repercussions. As for the Statutory Accounts, they were delivered late and contained numerous errors, reflecting a glaring lack of attention to detail and due diligence.

Moreover, the supposed "support" provided to businesses like mine has been virtually nonexistent. Rather than acting as a reliable partner, Jack Ross Chartered Accountants has been a source of ongoing frustration and stress. The inefficiency and unprofessionalism displayed have had a tangible negative impact on our business operations, eroding any trust we initially placed in their services.

In conclusion, our experience with Jack Ross Chartered Accountants has been profoundly disappointing. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, substandard service delivery, and absence of genuine business support are glaring issues that need immediate attention. I urge them to address these serious deficiencies and take corrective action to ensure that no other client has to endure such an unacceptable level of service.

I expect a prompt and comprehensive response to this complaint, outlining the steps you intend to take to rectify these issues and prevent their recurrence.
