The building looks nice.
The solicitors who work there have been uniformly dreadful in the way they have "handled" my son's house purchase. Any professional company that thinks it's acceptable to fail to respond to emails for THREE weeks every time and to ignore phone calls and messages , needs to reflect on what they are charging for. My son has been lied to, communication with other parties has been lied about and deadlines constantly missed or moved. Gotelees have passed the case from person to person in the office - it appears that the FIFTH solicitor will be the one to finally bring the purchase to completion. After SIX AND A HALF MONTHS.
The recent takeover has been a catastrophe for a company that was once so well respected. The staff exodus which has ensued, has left the company in tatters and disarray with nobody giving a damn about the clients - who they expect will pay up without a murmer. AVOID !

Usually have a very good service from Gotelee in Hadleigh. I can see they have merged into a larger group and hope this doesn’t impact the local service provided. I’m unable to actually reach the office , answerphone then just cuts off. Hope this isn’t a regular thing!

Very odd experience, called to discuss a quote for a will service as my mother would like to set one up as she is unwell and has not done so previously, explained this to the person who answered my initial call, whilst being transferred the call ended, at first I thought it was a disconnection, I attempted to call back a number of times but each time the phone was picked up and put down again to hang up on me. Called another solicitor in Hadleigh who was very helpful and most importantly actually had actual communication.
