When you try to call Adult Social Services you have to wait for at least 1 hour to get through to someone. And when you do and explain the situation they don’t understand or take what you have said seriously. When you have someone with learning disabilities who clearly needs help with everything you get no where. You waste time calling and giving them your phone number to call back they don’t. What are they doing? Where are the social workers who are trained in mental health issues? I respect it’s a difficult job but someone has to do it. Communication is very important to everyone knows what is happening if there is no communication then why isn’t there?

My son Monty Turner has repeatedly said how he is desperately unhappy at mothers to point he now lives with me. Is refusing to see his mother as he is scared of her. He has told Chloe saint, that she hits him, regularly is spiteful, bulling him to point he cry’s his little heart, keeps him pretty much in his room all of the time while she is downstairs drunk. Chloe, will not record any of it. I’ve left countless voice mails, many phone calls go unanswered. I’m absolutely disgusted with the level of care my child is receiving. I want to sit in on his next meeting, along with another social worker. Y is Chloe knowingly siding with his mother knowing how unhappy he was there. Ben Turner. Disgusted.

Wow! Not what I was expecting! The whole process of getting help for my 95 year old mother has been excellent. The help given was swift, professional, friendly, fair and just a great experience. Thank you so much :-))

Hampshire social services are not very good & pretty useless even worse than the IOW social services, I was under Hampshire social services for many many years and had many social workers the worst was without doubt this middle aged gentleman from aldershot called Robin, he was very rude, very arrogant and use to just come round to wide me up he had a very middle class stuck up attitude, he has some very sectarian political views, he mocked me & criticised me for being from an Ulster Protestant background and criticised me for having family in Northern Ireland, also his political views on Israel use to upset me so much, Robin is borderline anti-Semitic, he’s the worst social worker I’ve ever had.
