Our first visit to Blackpool sands and hopefully not the last. I imagine it's busy during the main weeks but it was lovely to visit this stunning beach whilst it was quiet. Easy to park and apart from the usual dogs running up to ours and owners nowhere near (our dog hasn't been well but luckily we managed to control things), this was such a nice place to relax. The pebbles were easy to manoeuvre and with clean toilets, decent coffee and food available, we had a superb couple of hours.

What an absolutely beautiful place.would recommend to anyone to visit here. The beach is tiny, small chippings like stone's. The water is deep and clear. To hear the sound of the waves coming in then pulling the little stone's down is absolutely amazing.

Amazing experience at this wonderful beach. It’s a very quiet place, perfect for relaxing and swimming. The beach is super clean, and the water is a stunning turquoise. However, it’s not a sandy beach, so beach shoes are recommended. The views of the rocks and mountains are really nice.

There is sauna cabin, as well as toilets, showers, and changing rooms, though they need a bit of cleaning. Otherwise, everything was great. We spent 5 hours and paid 9£ for the parking and it's worth it. Highly recommend this place.

I mean...look at it, it's a beautiful beach. The sand is more shale and pebbles, so you'll need a thick beach towel at least, or a fold-down chair if you want to spend some time on the beach, but that's not a problem. The beach is absolutely spotlessly clean - no litter or seaweed due to the way the shore slopes quite steeply before it meets the sea. Walking on it isn't perhaps as easy as sand, but the views are worth that little extra bit of effort to get around. Parking isn't a problem, and you can even pay after you've left the car park on the website (the pay machine was out of order so we did this) Parking isn't the cheapest, but it's a privately owned beach so someone has to pick up the bill... There's also a selection of places to eat, again all nicely done. Definitely one of the nicer non-sand beaches on the South coast of Britain.

Having used to live reasonably locally I took my wife and 5yr old son here recently to spend an hour or so, however they loved it so much we ended up staying all day!!
The car park is perhaps a tad expensive but I guess that’s the price you pay. The main reason I’ve not given it 5-Stars is the stones on the beach are a real pain to navigate! Being an artificial beach the stone they’ve brought in doesn’t bode well with human feet, especially if you’re heavy!
I ended up wearing trainers.
Also, whilst the food facilities are good, again it’s a bit expensive. 2 burgers with chips and a kids nuggets + chips…. £37!!!!!! 😮 So yeah. Ends up being a £50 cost with parking for a day at the beach.

But anyway, lovely spot, can’t take that away from it.

I walked to the Sands, but the hills are not easy. A good walk along the Sands, it wasn't busy. Plenty of wild flowers to look at braking waves on the rocks. Sand is quite corse. But clean.
I had a cup of tea and cheady chips. Best seaside chips I have ever had.

Beautiful beach on the south coast not far from Dartmouth. We parked in car park behind pub which is free for first hour. We had a coffee in the restaurant on the beach. Staff were very friendly and food looked good although we didn't eat. The restaurant provides a token for the car park if you need it.

What a Fantastic beach this is. Truly beautiful but it also has great facilities too.
Toilets, excellent food and service. Beach wear and beach products. It has the lot!
One of the most beautiful beaches in the UK.
Nine pounds to park all day or less for only a few hours.
Highly recommended.
