I was personally recommended to use Mark and Wykeham and Co as they have an excellent reputation locally. I am very glad I did. Mark is from Australia but don’t hold that against him (joke). Buying and selling a home can be one of the most stressful journey’s we take. His brutally honest approach and professionalism was very reassuring to us. Cannot thank Moira and the team enough for our house sale/purchase. Despite an incredibly difficult and frustrating buyer and their solicitor slowing up the chain, Moira did everything to get things completed as soon as possible. We recently sold our house and used Wykeham and Co as our solicitors for our sale and purchase. We cannot fault them on the purchase of our new build, searches were complete in a timely manner and there were no issues. When it came to our sale, we experienced many issues including slow answers to our buyers queries which resulted in us actually chasing the relevant companies for answers to the queries ourselves. The delays also meant we had to pay additional fees for RICS valuation for Help to Buy, as the process took 4 months, instead of the average 2-3 months we had expected. We were disappointed with this due to the fact that we were buying a new build and our buyer was a cash buyer so in theory should have been an easy sale.
