I can only speak for Marian Clift as she is the only person I have dealt with. At first she didn't answer any queries. Then she asked for details and never passed then to the insurance company. Then she started typing in capital letters that they were assessing the claim after I queried what the hold up was and questioned 2 emails from her where she was obviously guessing what was holding it up - 1. medical evidence which they had acknowledged they had and 2. awaiting the result of the inquest which had been held with no witnesses being called and a death of death by suicide recorded. When I suggested she actually asked what the hold up was instead of guessing she tried to blame me for not providing her with authority to act , which I had 6 weeks before. She then agreed to phone them the next day and see what she could find out. Needless to say I am still none the wiser as to the reason for the delay. She doesn't seem to actually communicate with anybody despite promising to. Not sure if it a reflection on the whole company as I have had no dealings with anyone else.
Additional note: having prodded her again still no further on. She hadn't contacted the company as promised. Obviously had no clue of what was going on with the claim. Our emails consist of me telling her what is happening instead if the other way around. I don't feel she has ever contacted them . Can I change my star rating to -1

It took them nearly a year to complete the purchase on my first home, when time was of the essence as the seller was open to higher offers it seemed like they just wanted to delay as much as they could due to a footpath being adjacent to the property.
Overcharged me for their services from their original quote and miscalculated my deposit amount.
The seller eventually pulled out from the sale since they were taking so long and was entertaining lower offers than mine. Their excuse kept being doing extra checks because of the footpath that both myself and my mortgage provider were already aware of. If you're looking for a conveyancer stay well clear of them and go with someone more professional.
