Sadly like the previous person, my mother in law has gone through the same thing, Mark has taken payment upfront and then communication has completely dropped off. After multiple chases we still haven't heard back from Mark, we have requested multiple times for a refund as no service has been provided, with multiple emails sent to no avail, very disappointed as we were recommended Mark and all initial conversations went really well. We now have no choice but to consider legal action to recover what we had paid Mark. I don't recommend using his services.

Can't recommend them at all. My parents decided to go with him and initially all seemed well. He was very polite, charming and seemed legit. Then we paid him and never heard back. I rang his office numerous times but the receptionist always said she couldn't get hold of him, I spent weeks trying to contact him but nothing. We even visited his business address, which was just a house with someone unrelated living in it. Eventually we decided to proceed with getting the police involved, as soon as I sent him a message telling him this he replied immediately, funny that. To his credit he refunded us the full amount within a couple of days.

Sadly i can't recommend this company. I took out two wills. Everything was fine until i needed to return the wills to Mark at legacy matters so that he could take electronic copies for their files. As they were such important documents i decided to hand deliver them to their business address in Impington, Cambridge. On arrival i spoke to a guy that answered the door and it quickly became apparent that he was renting at the address and that Legacy Matters do not use te address as offices. He couldn't guarentee they would get the documents if i left them in the post box outside the front door labelled "Legacy Matters". I decided not to leave the documents at that address and instead i scanned them and emailed them to Mark Layzell on the same email address we had previously been corresponding on. That was months ago and since then i have sent many emails and telephoned many times to try to get confirmation that what i sent was acceptable and that the scanned documents were now safely on file. For all the half dozen calls i've made i've left messages for Mark asking for an update. Every email and every call has been completely ignored. My assumption is that once i had declined the optional yearly payment (that would allow me future amendments to the wills without any additional charges) that Mark lost interest in me as a client and just ignored me. It looks to me like the business model relies on people agreeing to the yearly fee and without you agreeing to that there is no interest in you at all once they have their fee for creating the wills. I've no idea why my experience has been so bad when there are lots of good reviews. I didn't have any disagreement with Mark and can't think of any reason for him to ignore me other than my business model theory that relies on my yearly subscription.

I recently instructed Mark to help my mother with her will as there were complications due to incapacity with one of the beneficiaries.

Mark was very informative and made sure that my 85 year old mother understood everything that was involved, without using technical jargon and left her feeling very well supported and happy in the knowledge that all beneficiaries would be protected with her will.

I cannot recommend Mark highly enough for his knowledge, expertise and compassion throughout the whole process.

Mark recently helped us with the Grant of Probate for my late Uncle and I would highly recommend his services. He was helpful and knowledgeable throughout and really put my Auntie at ease at their first meeting. The probate came through in around 3 months which was much quicker than we were expecting. Thank you for all your help, its very much appreciated at a difficult time.

I recently instructed Mark to write a new will for me and I was extremely happy with the result.

He took the time to ask many questions to ensure all details were considered and explained it in simple terms, making it very easy to understand.

I would recommend him without hesitation.
