These guys used to be amazing when I was working with Stuart, Darcie and then Clara - all great, competent and nice accountants.

Since the end of last year (when Stu left) things drastically changed, I have been passed around like a hot potato and experienced so many issues with repeated failures to perform the services for which I am paying.

I have regularly had to chase them to reconcile payments which is something I am paying for - as my clients have been chased for payments they have already made.

Recently they initiated an unauthorised payment from a client and failed to investigate what happened, I have now chased it numerous times and I have still not received an explanation for why it happened. This error caused a load of knock on effects yet they seem uninterested in explaining what occurred...

I have been using Accounts and Legal to undertake bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounting for the best part of a decade. The dy-to-day service provided is efficient and consistent, along with A&L having range of knowledgeable professionals with whom you can discuss different aspects of tax, financing, grants, etc., as and when required. In particular, our point person Beata Suduiko is excellent, being highly responsive to our needs from day to day and month to month. She's a good problem solver and has great initiative, often having things done before we even know they need doing. It's really great to be working with such a professional, and it feels like Beata is on our team at my company. I recently started a second company and A&L were the natural choice for us to use for this new business too. Highly recommended.
