Called up today to discuss my father's will following his passing, spoke to Antony Cole who showed absolutely no compassion and was of no help to me whatsoever.

Terrible company avoid at all costs. Have had nothing but trouble from the start; got passed round 4 solicitors all temp staff, never called back when messages left, took over two weeks to reply to emails and didn't action changes even when we spoke to them face to face. As a first time buyer, they have completely put me off ever purchasing a property again. Only person who seemed to know what was happening was Layna - and she's left.

Simply the worst experience and caused personal issues and made delays to my house sale. I would not recommend, seemed out of their depth and inexperienced. Lied to me on several occasions and would not return my calls. You only have to look on here to see they leave their own feedback at 5 stars so they initially look good. Director doesn't give a damn - would rather take your money and go on holiday. Assistant manager who says 'I don't know what to do' sums it up. Avoid this company.

My first experience of buying a property on my own after divorce so I wanted a good company to walk me through the process. Chose ESW after reading excellent reviews-written before the departure of Lanya. Had to chase them constantly. Went through many different conveyancers as people kept leaving. Not sure is some of the problems were caused by the other side's solicitor but all in all a very stressful experience.

Disorganised. Used to always use this company for my house purchases, but since Layna Thomson left in May, it's total chaos there! Took 2 weeks just to return my initial email, asking who was now looking after my sale! (by then I'd already moved my business to another company). They don't even seem to know who's in charge (when I asked, this question, they couldn't answer!!)

By far the worst conveyancing solicitors I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Caused problems at every stage of the sale. Almost caused the chain to fail on several occasions. Do not use this company and if possible make sure noone in your chain uses them either..... You have been warned.
