We had Acuro back to do a re-inspection of the initial snagging and we met Jake who was super professional and thorough, even though he had a difficult day as the developer had guys there carrying out some of the snags still as they had not completed them all, who were asking Jake to point out snags (he wasn't there for that) but he kept his composure.
Received Jakes re-inspection report, which was very thorough & explained in detail. We can recommend Acuro for all your snagging needs, especially for new builds like ours was as they are very knowledgeable about regulations, which if not followed by your builder, can effect your NHBC warranty.

I just want to say how impressed I was with Jake from Acuro when coming to conduct a snagging survey at our new home. Since moving in, we’ve faced a lot of stress caused by our home builder. We’ve reported and remediated over 100 issues ourselves before Jake’s attendance, so naturally I felt quite anxious about someone new entering our home. Especially with the potential of more issues being exposed too!

But honestly, Jake instantly put me at ease and made the entire experience much more relaxed than I expected. I didn’t emphasise to him how grateful I am for that. I really respected his professionalism and the way he explained the priority areas and made sure I fully understood the breaches and what needed to be addressed when the report arrived. He emphasised that the report would contain the necessary detail to challenge the builder but his explanations gave me confidence about which issues to tackle first.

Unfortunately, more problems with the house have come to light from the report’s outcome but Jake’s visit left me feeling positive which I didn’t anticipate. Please do pass on my thanks to him as his approach has made a real difference. I’ve already recommended your services to a friend moving into her new build in March.

Probably the best ~£500 I spent throughout the house purchase process.
Marc turned up at the property before me and already had started survey with a drone. He spent nearly 12 hours at the property (4 bed) and has been extremely thorough with inspection. The report is done very professionally, with every detail and pictures (with picture-in-picture style), location and description of every snag - in fact so easy that I could pin point every single snag myself just by reading through the report.

While developers don't like snaggers for obvious reasons, in this case even site manager who received the report mentioned, he had multiple snaggers come around to inspect properties on this development, but Marc been the most thorough and professional - and report is exceptional.

I will highly recommend Marc and team at Acuro! easy 5 stars!

Excellent detailed professional report.The guys who reviewed my new build were brilliant! Great value for money and a must do for a new property -Identified numerous issues poor paint work scratches on windows shower door / iron mongery damage poor plastering flooring not level external issues and many other issues which the builder has now repaired.
10/10 to Acuro !!

I wasn't going to get a snagging report for my new build as it did seem expensive and the house looked so lovely to me and I was so excited. But a couple of friends recommended I get one done and all I can say is thank god I did!!
Jake came to complete the report, who was professional and friendly. I didn't really know what to expect. Jake spent almost 11 hours at my house completing his report. He talked us through a few parts he had found. I couldn't believe how much was wrong and I never would have spotted 90% of what he found. I was really impressed (although a little overwhelmed) on the day and he even spotted a gas leak and that my oven wasn't secured to the wall which I can't thank him enough for. Both of these could have caused serious harm to me and my family.
The real surprise came when the report came through. I cannot believe how detailed it is. It is so professional with a detailed description, photographs highlighting the issue and the section of the NHBC manual that it breaches. Suddenly the £475 I paid doesn't seem like a lot of money.
I don't know how much of a fight we will have with the developers now to correct these issues but I feel equipped to go into this fight all guns blazing now I have this report.

Excellent professional service. Jake and Marc were extremely thorough in their inspection and uncovered quite a number of issues in our new build.

We commissioned Acuro to conduct the platinum survey 1 day after completion as we wanted to get the snagging list sent to the developer as soon as possible to allow time for rectification.

Communication was excellent throughout. Our new build was particularly complex and therefore required almost 2 days of work. Jake and Marc kept us informed of the progress of the report and Jake called to explain the issues in a way that we could understand (not being familiar with construction/NHBC standards etc.)

The report was very detailed with clear pictures marked to show where the issues were and these were also categorized into High, Medium, Low to better understand areas of focus. Would definitely recommend them. Definitely recommend the investment as better to know the issues early on for the developer to address.

Very late making the review but - we were very happy with the service provided by Acuro with our snagging survey. Jake took his time to make sure he’d covered everything he could, with quite a few things highlighted that were high importance for us to get resolved with the new build company. They were also able to fit us in at quite short notice and managed to get us our report in time which we were extremely grateful for. Would definitely recommend them.
