We got married at The Old Gore on 31.10.24 and it really was the best day ever! The venue was the first one we saw and we knew instantly that we loved it - and that was clarified by attending a feast night before we actually booked our wedding, which was a huge bonus and sealed the deal for us. The building and grounds were absolutely stunning on our autumnal day, so many guests commented on it's natural beauty.
The team at The Old Gore were all fantastic, professional and fun! Tom was our coordinator for our day and he was brilliant, so organised but so relaxed which kept us calm too. Every single member of staff worked so hard they never stopped and we're so thankful - nothing was too much trouble. Leading up to the day it was so easy to chat with the team and ask any questions which was comforting for us.
Now on to the food - absolutely incredible. We're big foodies and this was another reason we chose The Old Gore and oh my gosh the chefs did not disappoint! The canapes were delicious and seemed to just keep coming! For our wedding breakfast we chose the steak and it was exceptional. It was exciting and entertaining to see it being cooked outside on the grill; another little highlight for us and our guests. The cook on the steak was perfection and again, it just kept coming! We had steak, fries, salads and sauces in the sharing, banquet style and it was one of the highlights of the day. Many of our guests said it's easily the best food at a wedding/ event they've ever had and we couldn't agree more. Our dessert was scrumptious and our evening food also so tasty, and as it was pizza it was easily delivered to the dancefloor in slices!
It really was the best day and we wish we could do it all over again, and we will be back for many feast night's to come!

We had our wedding at Old Gore in October 2024. We viewed only 3 venues when starting our wedding planning, all Cripps & Co venues, and whilst we liked them all, Old Gore was without a doubt the venue for us. It was a unanimous decision straight away from myself, my now husband and my mum. Old Gore is the perfect balance of Cotswold classic barn styling with a modern industrial twist. We had a large wedding and the venue layout is perfect, plenty of space and rooms so you can move around but everything is so well connected. Food was a priority for us and after going to a feast night, we were in love. The menus are so flexible so you can get exactly what you, but everything is delicious so it's a hard choice! We have a lot of veggie and vegan friends and they were all raving it was the first wedding they've been to and didn't feel like they were just being served the side dishes. The vibe was exactly what we wanted: a romantic ceremony, a cosy family-style meal and then a cracking part with Deloris the disco ball! And even better we could have our little fluffs with us too. The whole team at Old Gore are incredible, all so friendly and helpful, communication was amazing through their portal and my 1001 questions where no trouble to them. I work as an event manager so was worried I'd want to micromanage on the day, but I felt so comfortable and confident in the Old Gore team, led by Alex on the day, that I didn't have to think about a thing! Everything ran exactly to my timings and how we wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better team to have worked with for 18 months and brought our incredible day to life.

We had our wedding at Old Gore last week and everything was just perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful, but the staff are also amazing and made it such a stress-free experience. They have such a chilled and laidback vibe and nothing was ever too much trouble.

The food is also amazing and quite different to other wedding venues we'd looked around. Our guests all raved about it and had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the day itself. We honestly loved it so much and would recommend it to anyone.

Old Gore Barn was the first venue we visited and we just knew it was the one. It’s rustic, modern and charming - a beautiful venue which is a constant reminder that you’re in the Cotswolds.

The planning was straightforward and we felt reassured that this team knew exactly what they were doing. Tom was so friendly and efficient - everything ran so smoothly and it was lovely to see Tom enjoying the day too!

From everything we’d seen and heard, we knew the food would be good but it truly was the best wedding food ever and we have countless guests to verify this!

We got married at the end of September and knew we’d be fine with this venue no matter the weather. It rained in the evening and this only added to OGB’s atmosphere with the outdoor cosy firepits, the warm lighting and enormous disco ball on the dancefloor.

We can’t thank the team enough for the most amazing wedding. We’ll be back for the feast nights!

Lucy and I celebrated our wedding here in June 2024.
Throughout the wedding planning process,
Tom and the team really made us feel as though our wedding was the only event they were hosting.
The food was absolutely amazing and we have had so many compliments from friends saying it was the nicest wedding food they ever had! (We visited twice beforehand at their ‘Feast Nights’ to sample the food - which was a great way to involve our parents in the planning).
The venue itself is so beautiful and has so many extra touches to make the day unique to you as a couple. Our friends and family loved Pepe for the aperol spritz hour and the addition of Delores the disco ball.
Old Gore was so refreshing and unique as a wedding venue and we can’t thank the team there enough for the most perfect wedding!

We are considering getting divorced just so we can get married all over again at Old Gore! I can’t rate them highly enough. They were absolutely amazing and so efficient throughout the entire planning process and everything ran so smoothly on the day. Emily was absolutely fabulous and put me so at ease on the day and handled everything. We had so many comments from our guests on what a stunning venue it was and how great the food was. My partner and I celebrated our wedding at Old Gore on the 2nd November - it was honestly the perfect day! Tom, Molly, Clayton, Emily and the rest of the team were so fantastic from initial booking two years prior, to the big day. They answered any queries we had quicky and efficiently, and their online portal was so handy for referencing our quote/menu choices.

The day ran so super smoothly, and the food was outstanding (even with over 100 hungry adults to feed!) I would really recommend booking a 'Feast Night' if you get the chance - we went to two before our wedding, and have already booked another in February! They provide such a good and authentic idea of what food your guests will experience on the day!

I truly could not recommend Old Gore enough - if you're contemplating booking them, do it!
