We cannot thank Merriscourt enough for making our wedding absolutely perfect! From start to finish, the entire weekend exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was wonderful, and the incredible attention to detail and support from the team ensured everything ran so smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, and so many of our guests complimented it.

We also loved how personal the experience felt—the staff went above and beyond, always checking in to see if we needed anything and making sure nothing was too much trouble. Having access to the venue the day before to set up made the whole occasion stress-free, allowing us to focus on enjoying every moment.

A special thanks to Emily and Paige, who were so helpful on the day and made sure everything was flawless, and to Eva, whose seamless planning made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. Merriscourt truly made our dream wedding a reality, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you for giving us and our guests an unforgettable experience!

We knew from the moment we saw Merriscourt, and met Emily, that it was the venue we wanted to use to get married in.

The venue itself has everything you could need to make your day special. The grounds are spectacular, we were fortunate that we had sunshine on our wedding day, but the views over the Cotswolds are stunning on even an overcast or rainy day with the outdoor spaces perfect for an outdoors ceremony, reception or even just photos. The barns have everything you need, and the team are incredibly knowledgeable with great suggestions on what to do with each space, but also flexible enough to allow you to customise your wedding and really make it your own. We really appreciated that they gave us access to the venue a few days early to set up, it really took the stress away and just made us feel even more welcome.

The cottages on site are perfect for allowing your close friends and family to be close to you throughout the wedding, every detail was catered for, down to leaving food in the fridge for breakfast so that we did not have to think about bringing it with us. All of our family and friends remarked on how nice the cottages were, and how lovely it was to give them a space to get together before the wedding, as that was the first time many of them had met.

We cannot thank the staff enough for how kind and helpful they were during our wedding day, and afterwards. But we must single out Paige, Eva, and most importantly Emily for all the guidance and support they gave us from the moment we came to see Merriscourt to even after we left. They have been so accommodating and understanding of all the little things that we wanted to incorporate into our wedding to make it special, it would not have been such a special day without them and we cannot thank them enough.

If you want an unforgettable wedding that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life, we cannot recommend Merriscourt enough!

We would highly recommend having your wedding at Merriscourt! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and Emily and the team ensured that we had the best day that exceeded all expectations!

We fell in love with Merriscourt the first time we drove down the beautiful drive and into the grounds. For us, the venue was exactly what we were looking for, you can have everything inc. the legal wedding in one place, accommodation for all of our bridal/groomsmen party and closest family on site, not too far from London which is where most of our guests are from and lastly the most amazing views and spectacular looking venue. We booked it on our first wedding venue viewing and couldn’t have been happier with our decision!

We used a lot of Merriscourt’s recommended suppliers who were also amazing! Flowers by Kirsty has been to the venue numerous times so could send through an almost shopping list of what others have had which was so great when you don’t know what you are looking for. They made both rooms look incredible and we would highly recommend having one floral hoop as really bought the white barn to life. Cake by Rachel did the most amazing cake and looked so great. Cotswold Wedding co. did the beautiful drapes which made the ceremony room fit with the colour scheme. Twenty-One events definitely brought the party and had everyone on the dance floor until the bitter end! You do have to use the caters from Merriscourt but they were so great as we had a private dining session and you get to work with the chef on perfecting the menu on the day. The food was excellent and there was not an empty plate at any course! We had the duck starter and crispy pork which went down so so well. All the guests are still talking about the food!

Lastly, Emily and the team were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. They made everything feel stress free and helped to support us as it can sometimes feel very overwhelming when you are at the start of wedding planning. On the day itself, Emily was so great at reading the room and adapted the timings to the day itself which made the day for us amazing and seamless and perfect! Whenever anything came up she would never come to you with a problem but always came with a solution which meant we could fully relax. We can’t thank you all enough for making it a day we and our guests will forever remember!

We got married at Merriscourt in September 2024, and we had the best day ever. It has to be the best place to get married in the Cotswolds. First, the obvious things. The venue is totally stunning. Whether it's rain or shine you've got magnificent views, country charm and a great space where all your guests can be together and in their own space at the same time.
Got a large group of bridesmaids/groomsmen/family? They have you covered. They've got plenty of accommodation on site making it easy for guests who have mobility issues or for those friends who aren't all-night party go-ers. We were even able to stay the night before our wedding, meaning we got to wake up surrounded in the beautiful countryside and had no logistical issues to worry about!
The food is incredible. We went for an all vegetarian set of canapes and mostly veggie meal, and despite plenty of our guests being meat lovers, we had multiple people say the food was stunning. Some friends said it was even better than the food at their wedding!
Last, but not least, Emily, Paige and Eva are dream-makers. They're incomparably brilliant. From the moment we booked they helped us through everything. They answered I-don't-know-how-many email and calls from us whenever we needed to just double or triple check something. They had really helpful advice for how we could order the day and were so flexible when it came to our use of the venue and accommodation. You won't find a more reassuring set of people on a day (or many days) too. Also, they're all just very lovely and pleasant people you'll be happy to chat to!

Don’t even consider getting married here – just do it! The venue is absolutely stunning, the food is some of the best we’ve tasted and everything about the whole day was utterly incredible.
Emily went so above and beyond, looking after us not just on the day but also in the lead up; answering questions (no matter how trivial!), having video calls with us and putting our minds at ease if we had any concerns.
The day itself was just perfection (aside from the rain – but Emily knew exactly the right things to say to make us forget about the fabulous English summer weather!), and the team are an exceptionally well-oiled machine, making sure that all the guests were wonderfully looked after and everything ran smoothly. We had so many compliments about how beautiful Merriscourt is and how superb the food was!
We knew from our first journey up the driveway that the venue would be something special, and after our viewing we were absolutely besotted with it. We couldn’t have asked for more and are incredibly grateful to Emily, Tom and the whole team for helping to create the most perfect day for our wedding.

From the first time we visited the beautiful Merriscourt in the Cotswolds we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding day – we were struck by how stunning the barns looked inside and out, how tasteful and immaculate the cottages were and of course how iconic the Merriscourt tree looked in the middle of the courtyard (we knew it would make the most romantic setting for evening photos with the beautiful twinkling lights on!). We were lucky to hire the venue for two days and found that it was incredibly convenient to have family and friends coming from afar staying on-site, with the ceremony barn and wedding breakfast barn in the same location. The venue is everything you need within a two-minute walk, and we were relaxed to know that we were in safe hands when it came to every single detail!! The food that the Chef and his team prepared for us, and our guests was truly outstanding, and one of the best parts of an already stellar day that Merriscourt helped organise for us. We can’t thank Emily, Eva and Paige enough for their professionalism, responsiveness and flexibility, especially with last minute guest changes. If you are looking for the wedding venue of your dreams, and the chance to work with an outstanding team to create your perfect wedding day, Merriscourt should be your number one choice!

Myself and my husband had the pleasure of getting married at Merriscourt on the 1st August 2024. From our initial conversation to the big day, everything ran smoothly with great communication.

We had such an incredible day and all of our guests would agree. The venue is beautiful, the grounds are so well kept. The food was amazing and all of our guests could not speak more highly about the quality of the produce.
